Cottage holiday rentals in Grigny

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Fernanda and Carlos’s home. They were extremely welcoming upon our arrival, and we enjoyed talking with and getting to know them! The house itself is bright and spacious, and my family enjoyed the views of the garden from the bedrooms and main living area. The property is incredible. We loved exploring the apple and pear orchards, tomato garden, forest, and fish ponds. Most mornings and evenings we saw deer in the yard. Our last morning we saw a buck and a doe at the pond in front of the patio. We also liked wandering near the large pond in the back and watching the fish. Over all, my family and I truly enjoyed our time at Carlos and Fernanda’s home, and are thankful we spent time there.

The setting is truly bucolic. We enjoyed this peaceful and atypical accommodation. It was very clean and the instructions were very clear. The SPA is a big plus to continue resting in a beautiful place. To be redone

Super night

The campsite was a good base camp for us to visit the Olympic Games. The bungalow is as described: a functional accommodation, super clean and modern. Of course, the highlight is the hot tub. The terrace is also good for sitting together with friends.

Armelle is a very charming and welcoming person, always very attentive. A nice, interesting person, good advice who did everything to make our stay easier. Her place is exactly as described, there were 2 of us and it was perfect. Refurbished, clear and pleasant accommodation with a very cute little garden. Everything is clean, beautiful and neat at Armelle's, I can only advise to go there.

Eliane’s place is truly a quiet garden refuge with plenty of large windows overlooking the garden and lots of light. Yet it’s just a short walk to a nearby RER station and bakery.

Debby and Herve are the nicest of hosts. Very good and friendly communications and always very helpful. We had a very warm welcome and felt at home immediately. From every room of the cottage you have a lovely view of the garden. There is a little corridor running behind the kitchen and the second bedroom by which you can reach the toilet and the bathroom. We enjoyed having tea and lounging on the lawn in front of the house under the huge chestnut trees in total peace and quiet. If going by car, you can either park on the street for free or on the premises in front of the cottage, which is very good for (un-) packing. There are shops within walking distance and of course lots of them in Fontainebleau. Don't miss the castle and its various parks. You should plan to go to the little town of Barbizon, famous home of a painters' colony. Vaux-le-Vicomte is worth a visit, too. If you have the chance, book a Saturday Candlelight Evening with fireworks. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The accommodation is very quiet, a few minutes from the forest by car. We also really enjoyed being able to eat in the garden. François and his family are really very kind and discreet. This is an address we recommend.

Les Dryades was a lovely base for our week of bouldering in Fontainbleau. Very clean, spacious, modern, and well equipped with lovely outdoor spaces too. There was ample parking for our 5 vehicles. It was walking distance to our favourite bakeries in Milly-la-Forêt, and only a short drive to lots of bouldering venues. Sylvie was very responsive, and proactive in sharing helpful details for check in & check out. We all really enjoyed our stay and would certainly book here again.

Very good communication with the host who was responsive and friendly. The accommodation was clean, warm and well-equipped, everything we were looking for. I recommend it!

Agnès was very helpful and easily accessible via Airbnb app. There was a small issue with a door which she solved immediately. The tranquility combined with good accessibility of the city center via bus connections appealed to us very much.
