Of course there are fish halls at the harbor where you can buy freshly caught fish, and the sale of fresh fish from the side of the fishing boats. Max. 20 minute by car to several amazing nordsealand golf clubs. Close to Denmark's second-largest forest area - Gribskov - National Royal North Zealand with the beautiful castles and magnificent scenes of nature with lakes, forests and beaches. Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. We have 2 minutes to beautiful views of Kullen, the harbor and the coast, as well as a 7-minute walk to the beach with a bridge, and thus ample opportunity for a morning dip! Follow the Fyrstien towards old Gilleleje, or in the opposite direction towards Nakkehoved Lighthouse, from where there is a breathtaking view. It is possible to borrow men's and women's bike, with gear. Older models!

Apartment in the countryside

Cosy holiday apartment in quiet surroundings on our four-winged country estate, just outside Smidstrup Strand in Gilleleje. Cosy all-room with living room/kitchen, as well as stairs to the bedroom on the 1st floor. The stairs are steep, and the apartment is therefore not suitable for children. In the courtyard, there is some space for you, so you can also enjoy the outdoor environment here. NOTE! On weekdays, there may be some activity on the property due to bricklaying, when employees arrive, goods deliveries, etc. Motorcycles, welcome!

The cozy and secluded 40 m2 holiday apartment/annex with bathroom and kitchen, has access to its own wooden terrace/garden with garden furniture in the summer months.

The cottage is in walking distance to everything in Gilleleje. Enjoy the quiet evenings and watch the big ships sail by.

Room for two adults and a child. Electricity consumption is charged at DKK 4 per kWh. Barbecue, fireplace and 2 bicycles can be used.

Next to the house is the main house where sometimes there can be someone. The house is nice with a nice kitchen and bathroom and everything a house should have. 10 min walk from lovely sandy beach. There is free access to kayaks, sup, firepit, bikes and fishing poles. New VILDMARKSBAD and ICE BATH are for a fee.

The Black Cottage + Orangery

Available from April 1. - October 31. The Black Cottage and orangery are parts of the historical place called Skippergaarden (Skipper´s Residence) Fabersvej 2c, in the old Gilleleje. Skipper´s Residence is built in 1797 with last remodeling done in 2003/4. The Black Cottage from 1892, when summer residents became popular. Last remodeling 2019/21. The orangery is from 2009. We have wi-fi and parking available.
