New and modern cottage with large wooden terrace located in a quiet area near Gilleleje town, only 900 m from the beach. The house has a size of 100 m2 and has 4 beautiful bedrooms with 4 double beds, respectively, with space for a total of 8 people. (Possibly 10 people in the case of families with smaller children). There is also a travel bed with extra mattress, for the very small children. There are 8 duvets and 8 pillows, 1 baby duvet and pillow, but you must bring your own bed linen, towels and dishcloths. The house has 2 nice bathrooms with shower, closet space and hair dryer. The house's gathering point is the approx. 35 m2 spacious kitchen/living room with a beautiful functional kitchen with kitchen island and dining area as well as cozy sofa area with large comfortable sofa and TV (the TV is with Chromecast, i.e. there is no TV subscription or the like for the house). Here there is a guarantee for relaxation, coziness and good company. There is underfloor heating throughout the house, powered by an economical geothermal heating system. The house's fantastic floor plan makes the home an obvious gathering point for 2 families who want a wonderful vacation together. Outdoors, you will find a large, lovely wooden terrace, which runs all the way around the house (approx. 120 m2). The terrace is partially covered with garden furniture and patio heaters, inviting you to enjoy good times throughout the holiday. Here you will also find an outdoor shower ready to cool you off in the summer heat or rinse off after a fresh dip at the beach. For the childish souls, there is also a trampoline, a swing and a small playhouse in the garden. From the house, it is only 3 km to Gilleleje town, which offers a rich commercial life with many exciting shops, cozy cafes, a cinema and good restaurants.

Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. We have 2 minutes to beautiful views of Kullen, the harbour and the coast, as well as 7 minutes walk to the beach with a bridge, and thus a great opportunity for a morning dip! Follow the Fyrstien towards old Gilleleje, or in the opposite direction towards Nakkehoved Lighthouse, from where there is a breathtaking view. It is possible to borrow men's and women's bicycles, with gears. Older models!

Great pleasure activities (the sea, the forest, lakes, Kronborg Castle and Søfartsmuseet (Unesco Attraction). You will love this house due to he fabulous sea view, direct assess to the sea and the light. On the other side of the road is the preserved forest Teglstruphegn with large old oak trees. Very romantic. This is a place to be mindfull. Many guests just stay to enjoy the view all seasons.

Gilbjergstien B&B A lovely, bright cottage on Gilbjergstien with beautiful views of Kattegat, The Sound and Kullen. The cottage is set back in an old garden and has its own sunny veranda and terrace. In addition, you will have your own exit to Gilbjergstien, with direct access to the city and hiking trails along the sea. Leave your car. You won't need it anymore. The cottage is in walking distance to everything in Gilleleje. Enjoy the quiet evenings and watch the big ships sail by.

It has one main room with two beds put together, a separate kitchen for simple cooking and a bathroom. The terasse has a roof and is surrounded by flowers, trees and bushes. Suited for a romantic getaway.

The Black Cottage + Orangery

Available from April 1. - October 31. The Black Cottage and orangery are parts of the historical place called Skippergaarden (Skipper´s Residence) Fabersvej 2c, in the old Gilleleje. Skipper´s Residence is built in 1797 with last remodeling done in 2003/4. The Black Cottage from 1892, when summer residents became popular. Last remodeling 2019/21. The orangery is from 2009. We have wi-fi and parking available.
