Time out in the historic district

You will sleep in the beautiful historic Bant in a shipyard, built in 1876. The neighborhood is centrally located and yet very quiet. The sea and the city center are close by and can be reached both on foot and by bike in a short time, (beach promenade about 3 km, Train station and pedestrian zone about 2 km). What to expect: A cozy house just for you alone with a private courtyard garden and a bicycle shed if your bike comes along. Parking at the front door. Be welcome :)

The Donnerschwee farm, first mentioned in 1937 and later built, is located in the northeast of the city of Oldenburg and was the first settlement house on the square. The Donnerschwee district emerged from an old farming village, which presumably existed since the 9th century. The surroundings impress with their proximity to the Donnerschwee meadows and their beautiful cycling and walking paths. Nevertheless, everyday necessities are within a few minutes' walk or on foot.

In beautiful Friesland, close to the North Sea, lies the idyllic Branterei farm complex. Surrounded by paths with old trees, a farm garden, as well as a meadow orchard, the 15000 m² farm complex is an ideal place to unwind and relax. Nature lovers can watch deer, songbirds, birds of prey, swallows and sometimes storks in the garden. Lovingly integrated into the old farm complex is the apartment, which was completely renovated in 2022.

On the shore of our natural pond is our cozy wooden house. It is reminiscent of a vacation in Sweden… to top off this flair, you can relax in the in-house sauna and forget the stress of everyday life. We live together with two dogs in a secluded location on the edge of a small forest. Ideal for cycling enthusiasts. From here you can start great tours through the Ammerland! An excursion to Jever 12 km or to Dangast by bike through the beautiful countryside. Close by is the beautiful Sande swimming lake or the Gödens moated castle. On the Ems-Jade Canal is a paddle and pedal station. Various restaurants and supermarkets are 3 km away.
