Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Freudenstadt

Myself and my wife traveled from the uk to Christian’s property in rexingen in may 2025 , self check in was easy with a lock box containing the key to the property, Christian was always on hand to answer any questions I had. The home was spotlessly clean and as described in the listing , We felt at home straight away , Everything you need for a stay is provided , Towels , iron , washing machine , tumble dryer bed linen etc etc , It was like home from home , The area is quiet and peaceful because the property is set in a quiet location , most Black Forest attractions are a hours drive or you can take a 5 minutes walk from the property and you are within the forest with various nature walks of different lengths to choose from all starting from the property if you choose not to drive , We had a lovely evening meal in Horb at morgenland but would recommend you book in advance , A lovely weeks stay we had here and would recommend this accommodation,

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Das Haus war sehr sauber, gemütlich und schön eingerichtet. Man hat den Schwarzwald direkt bei sich, nahe Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Elke hat immer gut mit uns kommuniziert und alle Anweisungen waren gut verständlich.

Haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder kommen 😊 die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und ordentlich, es gab viele Ausflugsziele in der Nähe und Tamara war immer schnell erreichbar und hilfsbereit 👍🏽

Wat een geweldig verblijf hebben we gehad in das Zwergstübchen! Het is een schattig huisje met een gezellige inrichting. We zijn hier niets tekort gekomen. Daarnaast heeft het huisje een goede ligging. Als je buiten stapt, waan je je gelijk in de natuur. Tegelijkertijd zijn dorpjes met supermarkt/bakker/restaurant op een korte afstand. Gastvrouw Patricia heeft ons uitstekend geholpen waar wij vragen hadden. Zij is altijd bereikbaar en behulpzaam. We zouden graag nog eens terugkomen!

Karin und Wolfgang haben mich sehr herzlich empfangen und ich hatte sofort das Gefühl, in Ihrem Haus willkommen zu sein. Sie sind sehr hilfsbereit und stets erreichbar, wunderbare Gesprächspartner und Tippgeber und man fühlt sich von Anfang an wohl und angekommen. Es ist alles absolut unkompliziert und es ist der perfekte Ort um auszuspannen oder in direkter Umgebung aktiv zu sein. Die Wohnung ist optimal. Super sauber und aufgeräumt, freundlich eingerichtet und lichtdurchflutet. Der sonnige Balkon bietet einen herrlichen Ausblick auf die umliegende Natur und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Küche und Bad lassen absolut keine Wünsche offen. Das Bett ist sehr bequem und garantiert zusammen mit der unglaublichen Stille einen erholsamen Schlaf. Parken kann man direkt vor der Haustüre. Für mich war es die absolut richtige Entscheidung. Ich komme gerne wieder. Herzlichen Dank, Karin und Wolfgang, für die außergewöhnlich schöne Woche!

We hebben een heerlijke vakantieweek gehad in dit mooie vakantiehuisje. Alles was netjes en goed in orde. De keuken was voorzien van veel keukengerei. Op het dek kon je heerlijk buiten zitten met uitzicht op de weiden. Als het nog wat minder weer was, was de serre een mooi overdekt plekje vanwaar je bijna net zoveel uitzicht had. Vanuit het huisje liep je zo de omliggende heuvels in met een enorme soortenrijkdom aan wilde planten en bloemen. Het nationaal park is op rijafstand en bood nog veel meer wandelmogelijkheden. Freudenstadt en andere plaatsen in de omgeving vonden we ook leuk om te bezoeken.

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt und einen richtigen Wow-Effekt, als wir das Haus über die 3 Stockwerke betraten. Alles ist neu und modern, super schick eingerichtet und blitz blank. Mit einer Gruppe von 8 Erwachsenen hatten wir alles, was wir gebraucht haben und konnten sogar spontan einen Grillabend machen. Carolin hat sehr schnell auf Nachrichten reagiert und war extrem zuvorkommend. Ich kann einen Aufenthalt hier zu 100% weiterempfehlen! :)

Wir wurden von Sabine sehr nett empfangen und haben viele Tipps für die Umgebung bekommen!In der Unterkunft haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und es hat an nichts gefehlt:-)!

We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were incredibly kind and made us feel at home from the very first moment. They were always available if we had any questions, and both check-in and check-out went smoothly. It was a truly warm and welcoming experience. The Black Forest is absolutely worth visiting — breathtaking nature and peaceful surroundings. Highly recommended!

Spotlessly clean, well equipped, spacious , great location, attentive hosts. Not sure what else to say! The surrounding areas are picturesque with destinations like Stuttgart and Europa park around an hour by car. Did not have enough time to explore the area and will definitely come back. Would 100% stay here again and have no hesitation in recommending, Thank you for a great stay.

Wir hatten einen tollen Kurzurlaub, die Unterkunft sieht genauso aus wie auf den Bildern und man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Die Kommunikation mit Sina war super! Wir kommen sicherlich wieder.

Appartement was verzorgd ingericht, alles aanwezig, schoon en comfortabel. Marco had grondige informatie voor ons in huis, van het bedienen apparaten tot waar we boodschappen konden doen. Kniebis is klein maar een uitstekende plek om wandelingen te maken en het Schwarzwald te verkennen. Bedankt Marco, we hebben een geweldige week gehad!

This is a true gem! So close to wonderful hiking and mountain biking trails, a very peaceful environment, easy to reach by public transit. Gisela is a very considerate host, the apartment was squeaky clean, comfortably furnished, and the kitchen truly had everything one could possibly need during a short stay, including multiple coffee makers. :) We loved our stay, thank you so much!

During our stay we had a wonderful time both at the property and in the outdoor area. The accommodation had a very nice, warm and personal touch that made you feel at home right away. The host was super helpful in recommending e-mountain bike rental options which we followed for exploring the Black Forest.

We had a great time at the apartment of Janett and Alex. It was clean and well equipped. Moreover, nice hikes and good restaurants are nearby. On request we were able to check out later in the day, which was very convenient. Tip for future travelers looking for hikes: download the Schwarzwald app.

Daniela ist ein sehr nett und hilfsbereiter Kontakt. Die Lage der Wohnung ist ruhig und die Umgebung (das Dorf) sehr idyllisch. Von der Unterkunft gelangt man sehr schnell ins umliegende Rebland, in die Innenstadt von Baden-Baden und zu zahlreichen Wanderrouten durch den Schwarzwald. Genau das Richtige, um abzuschalten ☀️

Chouette logement spacieux pour 2 personnes. Très agréable d'avoir une mini terrasse pour profiter d'être dehors. A 15 minutes à pied du centre historique d'Alpirsbach qui est très joli. Beaucoup de randonnées dans la région. Marlis nous a très bien accueillis, je n'hésiterai pas à y retourner si je reviens dans la région.

Super saubere Unterkunft und mega freundlicher Gastgeber. Alles super. Lediglich das Bett empfanden wir nicht so bequem, aber das ist ja für jeden anders. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert 😊

Simplemente impecable! Super recomendable! Si en algún momento vuelvo a necesitar un hospedaje en la zona, no dudaré un instante en intentar reservar con Natalija. Si se viaja en auto, siempre hay lugar para aparcar en la calle y el departamento es muy espacioso y cómodo. Natalija nos brindó toda la información necesaria de forma oportuna y proactiva. Genial!!!

What a fantastic place to stay! The loft had everything you could ever need or want…even little things like sandwich bags and a free welcome drink were provided. The loft was spacious yet felt cosy. It was in a quiet area yet less than a 15 minute drive from Baden Baden. There are plenty of walks straight from the accommodation, or in and around the area. We also visited Europa Park which was about an hour away but easy to do and for anyone that loves waterparks or theme parks these are amazing! We would love to come again one day.

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Lage ist perfekt, vorallem wenn man mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln unterwegs ist. Klare Empfehlung!

Marie-Jo et André nous ont fait un très bon accueil dans leur maison. L'entrée séparée est pratique et le logement tout à fait conforme à nos attentes. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour et nous aurions plaisir à y retourner. Nous recommandons chaudement le logement de Marie-Jo pour un séjour au calme.

Nice spacious studio in the middle of the Black Forest. The studio is located on the ground floor of the hosts house, near the main road of Mitteltal, which was ideally located to start hikes and bike rides. With the Schwarzwald Plus card you can also use the bus for free to go to the start of hikes/activities in the region. Mitteltal has one very little supermarket and some bakeries and restaurants in walking distance (5-10 min). If you want some more options, Baiersbronn has some bigger supermarkets and more restaurants in 10 min by car. The sauna was a very nice addition on the rainy days. The bed was comfortable, the studio was very quiet and dark with the roller shutters down. The shower was also very nice. The host was very friendly and informative. We appreciated the parking spot in front of the house and the fact that we could park our racing bikes in the garage. We would recommend this studio for a peaceful trip to the Schwarzwald.
