Skipperhuset

🏡 Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes, which is located in Farsund municipality. Skipperhuset was built in the 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in the spring of 2021. In collaboration with a local painting company, we work to make the house as authentic as possible, including by wallpapering the living room, kitchen and hallway with skipper's house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is located wall to wall with the brewery, which has a renovated bakery oven.

Extremely versatile property that is great for singles,couples,couples and families with children. Can also fit workers. Bed linen is ready,but must be left on your own.

With only a few meters to the fjord, an almost has the experience of sleeping in the water. The Benedikte house is about 10 minutes drive from Egersund city center and about 5 minutes from the E39. We have tried to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one who lived in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the outskirts of the yard on Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and idyll. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock couple who walk free. The house is very modern and well equipped.

The cabin has a perfect location for a lot of hikings in the area: Preikestolen, Flørli, Kjerag and a lot of other places. It is only a few minutes by car to the Forsand quay, and departures for Flørli and Lysebotn.
