Skipperhuset

🏡 Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes located in Farsund municipality. The Skipper House was built in the 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in the spring of 2021. In collaboration with a local painting company, we are working to make the house as authentic as possible, including wallpapering the living room, kitchen and hallway with skipper house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. The Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is located wall to wall with the brewery house which has a renovated baker's oven.

Located about 1,5 km within walking distance from Lindesnes lighthouse (you see the lighthouse from the garden). 2 min walk to the sea with a lovely archipelago. Great hiking opportunities nearby. Possibility to borrow a boat (15 feet) with 25 hp (the tenant pays for gasoline + 2%o oil, see other information) and a canoe upon agreement. The house is furnished with modern kitchen and has throughout good standards. Small, warm garden with large terrace and nice view to the sea.
