Skipperhuset

🏡 Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes located in Farsund municipality. The Skipper House was built in the 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in the spring of 2021. In collaboration with a local painting company, we are working to make the house as authentic as possible, including wallpapering the living room, kitchen and hallway with skipper house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. The Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is located wall to wall with the brewery house which has a renovated baker's oven.

In here, it's almost unreal that you're only a few metres from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. Cool and romantic bedroom with a beautiful bed and canopy on the second floor. Private parking in the street behind, about 50 metres walk.

Stue, spiseplass og kjøkken i ett rom, 1 bad med dusj og vaskemaskin, 2 soverom med 2 sengeplasser på hver. Håndklær og sengetøy er inkludert i prisen, og sengene er oppredd ved ankomst. Parkering inni garasjen og foran garasjeport. Det er stor terrasse mot vest, og beleggningsstein rundt huset igjen ved inngangspartiet. Noe av uteområdet er fortsatt under opparbeidelse.

Hervoll is known for its cultural landscape, old millstones and as a starting point for nature walks. Tenants must thoroughly clean the house themselves before departure.
