Famous Leeds Castle and Bedgebury pinetum, the largest in the world are less than 10 miles away. Historic Rye, Canterbury, Whitstable and the channel tunnel to France are all within 40 minutes. The cottage is right on the North Downs/Pilgrim’s Way and is 6 miles from the historic cathedral city of Canterbury. The quintessential Kent village of Chilham is nearby, with the coast at Whitstable only a 30 minute drive away. There are great walks, lovely gardens, brilliant historical sites and excellent restaurants all within easy reach.

Slip Cottage is in the conservation are of Whitstable just off the High Street with its unique boutique shops, Restaurants and Bars both family and dog friendly. Its central location is right at the heart of Whitstable benefiting from its own private parking space. All you have to do is turn up, everything is within walking distance. The Beach at Whitstable is dog friendly all year round and a two minute walk from our cottage. All bed linen and towels provided.
