Det er mange fine badestrender i nærheten som for eksempel Fjærholmen og Rosanes . Bussholdeplassene er bare noen få 100 meter unna, og gjør det lett å komme seg til for eksempel Tjøme og Horten. Hagen er stor og har mange bærbusker og frukttrær. Ute er det fine skjermede sitteplasser hvor man kan kose seg i solen og grille.
