In summer: hiking in forests and fields, hunting and fishing and Sorknes Golf. Swimming at Rena camping (Center) or in beautiful Osensjøen 40 min away. Rena city center - cafes, shops, cinema, bowling - 10 km Suitable for couples/families, child-friendly.

The cabin dream - with its own sauna

Enjoy quiet days in a cozy cabin with a brand new wood-fired sauna, perfect for relaxing after trips in the mountains or a day on the slopes. The cabin is large (109 sqm), spacious and open. The surrounding area has good hiking conditions both on foot, on skis and by bike. There is an opportunity for hunting and fishing. Right outside the door there is a well-developed network of well-prepared ski slopes. There is a short distance to the alpine facilities in Trysilfjellet (25 minutes) and Sälen (35 minutes). Here you have proximity to activities in summer and winter.

To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 8 km drive, to Hafjell/Hunderfossen Adventure Park 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 mins. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. The farm is located about 15 minutes drive by car to the city, Elverum. A grocery store is about 13 minutes away. You should have a car if you are going to stay with us. You will find a farm in operation, with tractors driving at times, but also silence, nature, trees, land and forest as neighbors. Occasionally you can see elk and deer on the land. Sometimes there are northern lights!
