Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. In winter there are nice ski slopes right outside the door and the atmospheric cabin combined with the sauna creates the perfect winter experience. The house is also suitable for those who need a place to stay for a shorter period of time while renovating their house, or looking for something new. A great place for a holiday, skiing in the winter, and also a quiet and peaceful place to work from, with fast WiFi. The cabin is overlooking the largest lake in Norway, in the village of Feiring. Approx. 60 minutes by car from Oslo, and 35 min from Oslo Airport

Come enjoy this quiet lakeside setting. The property is situated on the edge of the forest, 100 m from a small lake that connects to Storsjøen. There are plenty of hiking tracks in the forest, and we have two bikes for rent so you can explore the countryside roads. Storsjøen is a large lake great for fishing both in the summer and winter. In the summer, you can take the river down to the village of Skarnes, situated on Norway's longest river Glomma. We have a boat, a canoe and a kayak for rent.

As you can see the pichtures show you two cabins, built together. The new cabin have two bedrooms, bath and a smal kitchen. Separate toilet. The old cabin has tow rooms one a bedroom , the other a living rom. The furniture is old in this rom , and has some old paintings as well. There are a stove to make it warm, nice and cosy. Firewood for free. There are plenty of space to sit outside, in wintertime this is on the starting place for Birken skirace. 3km from Rena.

The house is fully furnished. The cabin has fiber from Altibox, with standard channel package and chromecast.

The farm is located about 15 minutes drive by car to the city, Elverum. A grocery store is about 13 minutes away. You should have a car if you are going to stay with us. You will find a farm in operation, with tractors driving at times, but also silence, nature, trees, land and forest as neighbors. Occasionally you can see elk and deer on the land. Sometimes there are northern lights!

Cross-country skiers paradise | WiFi

Mountain cabin. In summer and autumn, the area is fantastic for hiking, biking or paddling. With 350 km amazing ski tracks on the doorstep, this is a cross-country skiing paradise. Borrow our skis, just bring boots. «Skisporet» provides info on track status. 15 min to Sjusjøen ski center (alpine). The area also offers exciting activities such as dog sledding (Sjusjøen Huskey Tours).
