Built from the logs of an old smoke sauna, the cabin is located in the lake scenery of Savo, about 70 km from Kuopio. The property offers a simple, authentic and nature-focused wilderness experience for couples and travellers seeking peace and quiet.

Alapihan Arboretum guest house with sauna

Cozy guest house and sauna in a wild tree species park. There are about 250 different species of woody trees and shrubs in the two-hectare area. The trees were planted in 1970 and form their own microclimate, where the air is clean and good to breathe. The area is still partly in its natural state and renovation is being done in the area. Kuohu is an atmospheric, warm sauna cottage built in 2015 on the banks of a small river. In the noise of the rapids, you can relax in the sauna, barbecue or campfire. The cottage is located along a small sandy road, completely in its own peace. Koli National Park is about a 30-minute drive, Höytiäinen beach is just over 2km away. We rent canoes and have picnic packages with local products.
