Genuine summer cottage on Kuoringa Island

A unique, newly renovated small cottage in Suurisaari, Kuoringa, with clear water and fish. Here the lake landscape and the clear Kuorinka are the main features. The cottage has two beds and a sofa bed, a kitchenette, a gas refrigerator and heater, a sauna and a magnificent lake view towards the evening sun. Solar-powered lights and mobile phone charging. Transport to the island (900 m) is arranged by the host's motorboat. For those arriving by boat, there is a wind-protected berth on the island.

A cozy traditionel Finnish log cabin next to a peaceful little lake. The cabin is placed beautiful calming area in the middle of forests. The cottage has sleeping accommodations for four (a sleeping loft and a sofa bed). There is a charming small kitchen, a fireplace inside and campfire place on outside, composting dry toilet and a sauna (no normal bathroom). The hot tube is available with extra charge (50e). Smoking and pet free area. Children are wellcome.  Warmly wellcome to our guest!

Log cabin by a clear water lake

Small log cabin with spectacular lake views. There is an extendable bed (2x80cm) in the cabin, as well as a kitchenette (running cold water). Sheets and towels provided. Electricity. Rent includes private use of a spacious wood burning sauna by the lake, about 2h per day (sauna also used by the owners). You can book your slot at arrival. Access to hot water in sauna (heated by wood). Dry toilet next to the sauna. Use of a rowing boat. Cabin is located 50 meters from the house of the owners.

Peace and harmony at Pikkumökki-cottage

Pikkumökki-cottage is a cosy, traditional log cottage with a magnificent view over the lake Saimaa. The cottage has an open common area (livingroom and kitchenette) and a sleeping alcove. Sauna is in the same building with an own entrance. There is no shower, but you wash yourself with a refreshing lakewater. There is no watertoilet, but traditional dry eco toilet in a separate building. A big terrace and a grill for barbeque. There is a small bungalow next to the cottage, with beds for two.

Vanaja cottage, Ascetic Cabin with Beach and Sauna

Ascetic remote old Finnish cottage with own beach and sauna. In midsummer there is also bilberry (nordic blueberry) fields right next to the cottage! At the cottage you can enjoy a romantic holiday in a historic milieu or just go and relax with your friends and take a rowing boat to the lake. The cottage has no electricity or running water, wood heating. You can cook with wood heated stove. Blankets, pillows, and mattresses can be found in the cottage. Please bring your own sheets & towels.

Kesäisin näppärät sähköpyörät vuokrattavissa lähipysäkiltä. Talon alakerrassa idyllinen puusauna vilvoittelutiloineen. Omassa rauhallisessa pihassa on omena- ja luumupuita. Kesäisin puuron päälle voi hakea vadelmia tai syksyn tullen pyöräyttää vaikka omenapiirakan pihan ompuista tai vain makoilla riippukeinussa.

Welcome to a unique boat house by a clear water lake! The boat house is equipped with modern appliances. Long deck by the water, summer kitchen, balcony on top of water, rowing boat, wood-fired sauna - all this is waiting for you in Ukonniemi. Boat house is excellent for remote work too as it is equipped so that all you need to bring along is your laptop. We are located on a northern Ukonniemi vineyard. Rockhouse is hand-built from local wood. The cabin is a warm cabin equipped with amenities on a rock in the middle of nature and forest animals. The terrace overlooks about 4 km from the lake in the direction of the sunset. Separate landscape sauna and glazed atmospheric barbeque hut on the terrace.
