A fantastic stay in this tranquil Mökki with lots of activities and a perfect family setup. Highly recommended and Tuomas is a superb host!

A perfect small mökki for a summer getaway! With a private access to the lake with sand, great sauna, barbecue spot and a beautiful forest with loads of blueberries and wind strawberries around. It's maybe better for someone with a car, because the closest grocery store is 6km away, and to get drinking water you have to boat 2 km, which was not a problem for us, but the boat and bikes at the property were not in the best state, but still usable. The house has everything you need, but is very small -- I feel like even though there are technically 3 sleeping places, 3 adults will use up all the oxygen at night ) but for 2 adults or 2+1 kid it's perfect. We felt very rested afterwards! There's also a very nice hiking trail nearby.

Delightful cottage by the rapids, sauna got great steam.

A great place for a family holiday. Cooking facilities like at home and in the sauna we got good steam. We roasted sausages on an outdoor fire, so we didn't have to go on a separate barbecue trip.

We visited Eija's cottage for the second time. The second time was as good as the previous one, the weather a little cooler. We relaxed, cooked, slept and saunaed. For the sake of pet friendliness, our dog was allowed to come along. He enjoyed his free time and also fell in love with the place. Eija is a good host, responds quickly and assists if necessary. They can also give you tips on the place, if you need them.

Really nice apartment in a good location, our fairly large travel party fit well to sleep and everything went smoothly. Warm recommendation!

The cabin great and we had wodnerful time!

It is a beautiful place with its own lake access. The terrace is an absolute dream. The house itself is modern, but a bit chaotic - you can tell that the house is used a lot. Unfortunately, the cleanliness does not meet the Airbnb standard - especially the shower area and kitchen appliances must be thoroughly cleaned. We did not feel that the house had been cleaned at all lately and were a little annoyed that we should still pay a cleaning fee. We still give 5 stars, because we still had a great stay and enjoyed the peace and quiet. But I think you should know what you're getting, if you expect a sparkling clean house, you're in the wrong place. Perhaps also relevant for dog owners: the description says the property is completely fenced - this is not true, there is no fence.

Gorgeous place, isolated spot but still in walking distance of bus to get to city. Cabin has everything you need. Will defo be back!

Mika is a super polite host and the place is more than awesome. We stay five days in paradise and hope to come back sooner.

Had an overall lovely stay with my partner in a spectacular location right by the lake. Astonishing views for both breakfast and dinner were served right through the windows of the cottage. The price is of course in accordance with these features, maybe even a little too much. It might have been the particular weather but it was quite challenging to get the sauna ventilation exactly to where it doesn't let the smoke in the room.

Awesome place and great host. We had some problems with the electricity, but Teemu handled it quite fast - during the Christmas days.

A great place for calming and grounding in the midst of nature. Great sauna and nice fire pit. It was easy to do business with Lotta, and the instructions were clear about everything. We had a camping stove with us and I recommend it to others, so you don't necessarily have to use a wood stove for coffee soup or other small heating. None of the insects hurt us, even though we didn't use repellents - the mosquito season is clearly already behind us. We hope you get the chance to come again!

The house was exactly what we were looking for: a cabin in the middle of the woods, in full contact with nature, perfect for admiring the lake area. We were right on a lake practically everything to ourselves, we also took a nice ride on the lake with the rowboat (there was also the engine but we didn't use it) and the sauna all to ourselves! Awesome!!! In the evening, eating outdoors in silence was wonderful. When we returned to the house we turned on the fireplace, beautiful. The children especially appreciated the darts and the pier on the lake. The house had all the comforts, even if the bathroom was external and organic: a hole with a bucket underneath, where you had to throw fertilizer between times, but it was all reported and it was also fun! The only problem was the cleanliness, because the house was not very clean, but so in the middle of the woods we could safely bear: we cleaned a little and adapted. In general, I highly recommend it!!

This cabin was luxurious with a lot of attention to details, a gorgeous sauna, and a beautiful clear lake. It is so amazingly quite. Sari and his husband were extremely friendly and the chats and delicious cake made us feel at home.

The cottage was in a great location in privacy! I would have loved to have stayed here longer. The sauna provided good steam and there was just the right amount of space in the cottage. The dog was also comfortable with freedom and a shallow beach where you could wade. Highly recommended!

We spent a lovely cottage weekend enjoying the outdoors, swimming, and sauna. The stay was a short drive from services like a grocery store. There was a storm over the weekend and we were at the cottage for almost a day without electricity, but Markus handled it in the best way and without asking.

We had a quiet and relaxing time at the house. Unfortunately, we had a bit of bad luck with our travel date, as it thawed heavily shortly before we arrived and then froze again. The result was a rather demanding journey over heavily icy forest roads. With four-wheel drive, no problem and on site you could do well with spikes. But you think twice about whether you have to go shopping by car or not. After it had snowed again, that was no longer an issue, mind you with four-wheel drive! The house is quietly located directly on the lake. If you are looking for a break from everyday life and relaxation, I can only recommend winter as a travel time. We used the cold days for the sauna and took a few trips to the beautiful frozen lake landscape. Sanna was always easily accessible and provided us with information about the location and everything around it 👍 In terms of amenities, we didn't miss anything and we could imagine coming back 👋👋👋

We've been to this place before. The cottage is really nice and tidy. There is plenty of space for a family of 4. The kitchen is well equipped and there is plenty of space to cook. The beds are good. The environment is beautiful and peaceful. There are very fish in the lake. A tub, a wood-fired sauna and a lean-to crown it all. We will definitely come back again.
