Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Douglas County

We loved staying here! It’s absolutely beautiful! We’re from LA and come down here yearly to visit friends and this location + amenities were great for us! Close to some great places to eat as well like sushi uni and Pegah’s. Unfortunately the pool area was closed this time of year but we look forward to future visits and being able to relax by the pool. The host left clear instructions and was very hospitable. We will definitely be back!

Dom was very helpful giving directions as to how to get into the place and making sure we checked in and out without any problems. Nice quiet area everything was great and Dom was super nice and attentive.

The place looked exactly like the pictures. Most importantly it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The one or two questions I had were answered within 10 minutes. The apartment complex is also clean and quiet and there is plenty of parking. I will definitely keep this in mind when coming back to Kansas.

Excellent place. Room was comfortably furnished, and the place overall was clean with detailed instructions and expectations set throughout. The location was convenient with ample parking and easy access. And importantly, Amy set a welcoming tone by being both helpful and friendly, with Sweet Pea setting this place apart by being an absolute delight. I recommend and look forward to being back.

It was an absolute pleasure staying with our hosts! From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, making us feel right at home. What truly set them apart was their wealth of local knowledge. Their recommendations were spot on – Strawberry Hill was a delight! – and the historical background they shared brought the area to life in a way no guidebook could. They were truly better than any concierge or tour guide we could have hoped for. We left feeling like we'd experienced the area in a much richer and more meaningful way thanks to their generosity and insights. We highly recommend them!

This place is great. It was really close to KU campus (walkable distance), and really close to bus stops whenever I needed to ride a bus. Also very easy to get Uber. The room and the house were exactly as described, and the host is very friendly.

Anne was extremely friendly, responsive, and flexible! She has a beautiful home and the space was very clean, comfortable, and uniquely decorated. Would stay again!

Beautiful home in a perfect, quiet setting and within minutes of the ballpark in Lawrence. Very friendly hosts. Felt right at home. Cleanliness was top notch. Bed was very comfortable. Will stay here again for sure. Thank you for the great hospitality.
