Welcome to our home! We’re offering sunny, spacious and cosy private room located in Dinan centre, only a 3 minute-walk to the medieval town and ideally-positioned for visiting nearby Dinard, St Malo,Rennes and Mont St. Michel. Dinan is a medieval town with a relaxing atmosphere. It has city walls (donjon, towers and doors from the 13th, 14th and 15th centuries), medieval streets (Rue du Jerzual) and charming plazzas: Du Guesclin plazza and Du Champs plazza famous for its glass facades from the 18th century. Once a fortress for the ducs de Bretagne, Dinan is one of the best-preserved and prettiest towns in Brittany. We have two 17 sq m bedroom incl en suite (shower/ bath, toilets, towel dryer, sink) with a TV and wireless internet. Towels and fresh linen provided. Baby cot, babychair are available. Breakfast is included. The house has a big garden overlooking the ramparts and is located in the city centre, just outside the city walls. 3 mins walk to the medieval town. You will be able to park your car in the garden. Note that blue room (Pavillon Gaudel bleu) on top floor offers option to get your own fully equiped kitchen to prepare yourself diner in case you prefer this option rather than eating outside in numerous Dinan restaurants... Really close to all amenities, train station (10mins easy walk) and medieval town (3mins walk). ACTIVITIES: Major historical attractions include St Saviour's Basilica, the flamboyant Gothic St Malo's Church, the Collège des Cordeliers, the Romanesque Duchess Anne's Tower (Tour de l'horloge), the Jacobins Theatre dating from 1224 and the Château de Dinan. Dinan's "jardin Anglais" ( "English garden" located behind St Saviour's Basilica) offers a lovely panorama overlooking the valley, the River Rance, the old harbor and the viaduct. The town retains a large section of the city walls, part of which can be walked round. The remparts promenade is a must. Between the back garden of our house and the small ditches you will find the "jardin des petits diables" ("garden of the litlle devils"), with playgrounds for kids: toboggan, slides, a minigolf and an animal garden. DINAN'S MUSEUMS: the castle museum; the rail museum; Yvonne Jean Haffen museum (famous Breton painter); the 39-45 WWII museum ARCHEOLOGICAL SITES: Corseul 7 km and Pleslin 5 km THE MUST-SEE'S: Lehon Abbey 2 km; Taden Manor (Gallo-Roman villa; 1st-2nd century A.D.) 5 km SPECIAL EVENTS: Tour de France this summer! The "Fête des Remparts" is Dinan's major highlight. It occurs on the third weekend of July and is held in even-numbered years (2014 is the next one). Locals dress up in medieval costumes and duels are staged. WE ARE LOCATED AT: 32km from Cancale (oyster farming site). 'Le petit Quengo': charming cottage at the castle

In the castle's old stables. We wanted to preserve the maximum authenticity: kitchen in an old box, beams and part of the exposed framework... Spacious rooms. Living area: 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 3 TOILETS Adjacent to a 53 m2 room with: toilet, washing machine, barbecue, ping-pong, tables and garden furniture, boots... large plot for you only and access to the 14 ha estate with park, swings, vegetable garden, orchard, woods, pond, chapel... IDYLLIC, QUIET SETTING!

I'm in the 2nd floor without elevator. Bed 140x190 cm. Duvet. Bed made, towels provided. Kitchen access possible if at least 3 nights. Lockable cellar for bicycles.

La Richardais. Le Perron, on the banks of the Rance

Quiet, spacious room on the 1st floor of the house for 2 adults, with balcony, 140 cm bed, desk, private bathroom upstairs. Separate toilet. TV in the master bedroom and Wi-Fi access. Breakfast and all linens are included at no extra cost. A 2nd bedroom for children or teenagers with 2 beds 90 x 200 is available with advance booking on Airbnb (30 euros per person per night, breakfast included). The bathroom is then shared with the family.

Bedroom is upstairs exclusively reserved for hosts. I live on the ground floor. It has 1 queen bed, 1 lounge area with armchairs, herbal tea, mini fridge, no kitchen access. Breakfast is included in the price A garden furniture is available for your use. The street is very quiet, parking provided. Linens and bathroom linens are provided A 2nd bedroom is available for people who know each other and agree to share sanitary spaces.

You will enjoy a beautiful room with 2 beds. Perfect for a couple or family with kids. It is on the 1st floor, the shower room on the ground floor is reserved for you. Linens and towels are provided. The beach is 1 km away, the historic center is 2.5 km away. We provide free city bikes. If you wish, we serve breakfast (supplement of €7.5/pers to be paid on-site). Adding a 3rd bed is also possible with a €5 supplement (see photo).
