Welcome to our home! We’re offering sunny, spacious and cosy private room located in Dinan centre, only a 3 minute-walk to the medieval town and ideally-positioned for visiting nearby Dinard, St Malo,Rennes and Mont St. Michel. Dinan is a medieval town with a relaxing atmosphere. It has city walls (donjon, towers and doors from the 13th, 14th and 15th centuries), medieval streets (Rue du Jerzual) and charming plazzas: Du Guesclin plazza and Du Champs plazza famous for its glass facades from the 18th century. Once a fortress for the ducs de Bretagne, Dinan is one of the best-preserved and prettiest towns in Brittany. We have two 17 sq m bedroom incl en suite (shower/ bath, toilets, towel dryer, sink) with a TV and wireless internet. Towels and fresh linen provided. Baby cot, babychair are available. Breakfast is included. The house has a big garden overlooking the ramparts and is located in the city centre, just outside the city walls. 3 mins walk to the medieval town. You will be able to park your car in the garden. Note that blue room (Pavillon Gaudel bleu) on top floor offers option to get your own fully equiped kitchen to prepare yourself diner in case you prefer this option rather than eating outside in numerous Dinan restaurants... Really close to all amenities, train station (10mins easy walk) and medieval town (3mins walk). ACTIVITIES: Major historical attractions include St Saviour's Basilica, the flamboyant Gothic St Malo's Church, the Collège des Cordeliers, the Romanesque Duchess Anne's Tower (Tour de l'horloge), the Jacobins Theatre dating from 1224 and the Château de Dinan. Dinan's "jardin Anglais" ( "English garden" located behind St Saviour's Basilica) offers a lovely panorama overlooking the valley, the River Rance, the old harbor and the viaduct. The town retains a large section of the city walls, part of which can be walked round. The remparts promenade is a must. Between the back garden of our house and the small ditches you will find the "jardin des petits diables" ("garden of the litlle devils"), with playgrounds for kids: toboggan, slides, a minigolf and an animal garden. DINAN'S MUSEUMS: the castle museum; the rail museum; Yvonne Jean Haffen museum (famous Breton painter); the 39-45 WWII museum ARCHEOLOGICAL SITES: Corseul 7 km and Pleslin 5 km THE MUST-SEE'S: Lehon Abbey 2 km; Taden Manor (Gallo-Roman villa; 1st-2nd century A.D.) 5 km SPECIAL EVENTS: Tour de France this summer! The "Fête des Remparts" is Dinan's major highlight. It occurs on the third weekend of July and is held in even-numbered years (2014 is the next one). Locals dress up in medieval costumes and duels are staged. WE ARE LOCATED AT: 32km from Cancale (oyster farming site). Our accommodation is located in Plougonvelin, 500 m from Trez-hir beach (sandy beach). Also ideal for hikers who want to discover the GR 34. 5 minutes from the Conquet pier to access the islands of Molène and Ouessant. Guests can also take advantage of our indoor heated pool from April to October and its free outdoor jacuzzi all year round. The accommodation offered to visitors is independent of the part occupied by the hosts.

Let yourself be seduced by this adorable accommodation in the countryside, quiet, 20 minutes from the beaches (Saint Pol de Leon, Roscoff, Carantec...). Plouvorn, a town between Brest and Morlaix, is ideally located to travel throughout Finistère. Local shops and lake for walking and swimming 5 minutes away by car. Separate entrance from our home, the living room and kitchen are on the ground floor and the bedroom upstairs.
