Smart Townhouse Meets Quaint Cottage Close to the Sea

Hide out 150 yards from the beach in a Georgian townhouse. Set over 4 floors, it offers plenty of spots to retreat to, like a cosy living room with a log burner, an alfresco courtyard off a glossy blue kitchen, and a funky dining room on the lower ground floor. We use 'Little Bird' as a place to relax. With this in mind we have made the house as comfortable as we can. The house is set over four floors, on the ground floor is a sitting room with wood fired burner, TV and wi-fi which leads into the kitchen. The courtyard is accessed from here through double doors and has seating for four. On the first floor there is 1 double bedroom with a king size bed which can also be made into two single beds. Just let us know at the time of booking and we can sort this for you. The second floor has a king size bed and the room is open to the rafters. The basement has a dining table and chairs for 4 people. Whilst refurbishing the home, our aim was for this to feel like home from home. A hairdryer, iron and ironing board are provided along with towels and Egyptian cotton bed linen. Plus there is a washer/dryer, dishwasher, mircrowave, fridge and freezer. There is a shower room but no bath however we can provide an inflatable bath for babies. Also for children is a travel cot, potty, high chair, baby gate for the stairs, a baby step for cleaning their teeth and reaching the basin. Guests are welcome to use all the areas and all the amenities. As the house is set over four floors there are 3 flights of stairs that may feel a little steep for the elderly - hand rails have been fitted and there are night lights for children. There is a stair gate available to restrict access to other floors if you have children (please ask for this when you book). We are available to talk to by phone at any time if there are problems, whilst not based in Deal we are nearby. As much as possible we like to greet our guests. In the heart of a conservation area, the surrounding streets and alleys are full of historic buildings that have remained untouched for centuries. Walk in minutes to the beach, or to the high street with its shops, restaurants, and coffee shops. Free parking is available a short distance from the house, so unload at the house and then park. We find we rarely use the car when you are here as independent food stores and supermarkets are nearby. There are regular bus and train services within a 5-10 minute walk from the house. Deal is also really accessible with a high speed rail link to London in 1 hr 7 mins. There are ferries at Dover which go to the continent, you can even enjoy a day trip to Calais. The M20/A2 motorways easily accessible (20 minutes). We have fully refurbished the house in a stylish and contemporary way. Everything has been chosen with care and with comfort and practicality in mind. We stay at the house a lot and wanted it to feel like a proper home so if you want to cook you can or just snuggle on the sofa and read a book it's perfect. We also have wi-fi, a smart TV and Netflix's. A log-burner has recently been fitted in the living room. The bathroom has a shower complete with a separate attachment for bathing children (or yourself it you don't want to get your hair wet) - there is no bath. CHECK IN is 3pm with CHECK OUT at 11am. If we have no guests coming straight in, and subject to the changeover team- these can be amended to allow for an earlier check in and a later check out time. There are some basics in the house, as often when you go to self-catering accommodation and there is literally nothing so cupboard staples are provided. Washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets/salt/rinse aid, washing powder, toilet roll, kitchen roll. There are towels provided for guests, however please could you bring your own beach towels. Please note that at our most popular times of the year bookings are a minimum of 3 nights - please ask and on most occasions there is a discount applied for weekly bookings (less than the nightly rate x7 ).

Restored Pub with Home Cinema on the Seafront

Recently renovated from top to bottom, the property boasts fantastic views across the English Channel. Situated on the edge of the historic old town, it's just two minutes walk from the bustling high street with its quirky shops, dozens of restaurants and bars. Each and every element of this former public house has been carefully considered: From the state-of-the-art private cinema in the old beer cellar to the repurposing of the saloon bar into a bright, yet cosy entertaining and dining space, a modern fully fitted kitchen, with adjoining breakfast-coffee bar, to the creation of five double en-suite bedrooms featuring contemporary furnishings and designer fittings. The house makes a perfect base to explore the areas' exceptional mix of golf courses. Three superb championship links courses, Royal Cinque Ports, Royal St Georges and Princes Golf Club, plus two downland courses in nearby Walmer & Kingsdown and North Foreland. The house is unique for this location given its size, amenities and level of finish. No expense has been spared to create a unique and stylish coastal home set over four floors. All the five en-suite bedrooms have super-king beds, dressed in luxurious White Company bedding and the bathrooms all feature powerful monsoon showers. The spacious, state-of-the-art kitchen comes fully equipped with every item of kitchenware you could possibly need to rustle up anything from a snack to a gourmet meal. The main living area was the former pub's saloon bar, and in tribute to the building’s rich history has been fitted with a copper-topped bar, a perfect place to enjoy a cocktail while looking out across the water. In keeping with the pub theme, there's a second “breakfast and coffee bar” next to the kitchen, an ideal spot for a leisurely morning read. The former beer cellar has been converted into a cinema and is now a secret haven to unwind and indulge a media fix. Guests have access to fast, reliable WiFi in every corner of the property and a large washer and dryer for their personal use. The property has central heating throughout, with underfloor in the en-suites, making it a cosy bolthole even on the chilliest of days. There's a great selection of restaurants from fine dining to fish and chips, a pub on virtually every street plus a history-rich area that’s easy to explore on foot. By Train: The hourly high-speed train service takes approximately one hour and twenty minutes from London, St. Pancras to Deal town centre and the house is a ten-minute walk from the station. By Car: Deal is twenty-minute drive north Dover and well connected to the motorway network. One parking permit is supplied for guests use, additional pay and display parking is readily available.

Central house close to beach with parking sleeps 5

Number 5 is a beautiful light and airy seaside home. It is a 2 minute walk from the beach and close to the pier and local golf courses. Situated in the old town which is quiet but close to the main shopping area full of independent shops, fantastic cafes and many restaurants. Number 5 has a sunny garden and parking to the front which is a real bonus in the centre of Deal where parking is hard to find and expensive. Suitable for all age groups it offers a great base to visit the local area.

Bijou Fisherman's Cottage in Conservation area

A small, former fisherman’s cottage (ideal for 2 to 3 people) dating back to mid-1800s, Sea Sprite is just one minute away from Deal’s High St, seafront and pier. Located in the heart of the historic Conservation Area, the three floor property has been furnished to create a comfortable, cosy environment. (It should be noted that the stairs to the first and second floor are steep and narrow, with the bathroom on first floor). It’s the perfect base to explore the South East Kent coast.

Bohemian cottage in the heart of Deal

A comfortable and stylish cottage in the heart of Deal, this little place is full of charm, colour and light. Just a stone's throw from the busy High Street and train station, it provides a convenient and characterful base for exploring the town, the local coastline and the wider East Kent region, with its picturesque walks, beaches, and many excellent golf courses. Pets are very welcome by arrangement. The garden is sunny and has outside seating to make the best of warm evenings.

Number 30 is ideally suited for a couple - this was what I was thinking of when I first started with Airbnb, somewhere we would like to stay. Situated in a quiet area of Deal, Number 30 is a double-fronted house. A short walk from Deal’s town centre; with it’s collection of unique and high street shops, cafes, bars, beach and a pier. The train station is less than a five minute walk away but off-street parking is available too. A great base to explore the Kent coast, or just relax.

A brand new 3 bedroom modern house suitable for couples, families and friends to stay. The house is also ideal for golfers as we are near the Royal Cinque Port and Royal St. George’s. The house is situated in a new development called Pottery Grove and is a 6 minute walk to the station and the local supermarket. It’s a ten minute walk to the high street and sea front. The third bedroom has a single bed and a ‘bed in a box’. This is a unique pull out single bed, thus sleeping 2.

Welcome to our lovely Georgian house in the sought after conservation area of Deal. Moments from the High Street and seafront, it's the perfect place to enjoy a holiday by the sea. Relax and unwind in front of the cosy double-side wood burning stove, or in summer soak up the sun in the pretty sheltered south facing courtyard garden. Potter down the wonderful Hight Street full of independently run shops, restaurants and cafes.
