Situated on the edge of the historic old town, it's just two minutes walk from the bustling high street with its quirky shops, dozens of restaurants and bars. Each and every element of this former public house has been carefully considered: From the state-of-the-art private cinema in the old beer cellar to the repurposing of the saloon bar into a bright, yet cosy entertaining and dining space, a modern fully fitted kitchen, with adjoining breakfast-coffee bar, to the creation of five double en-suite bedrooms featuring contemporary furnishings and designer fittings. The house makes a perfect base to explore the areas' exceptional mix of golf courses. Three superb championship links courses, Royal Cinque Ports, Royal St Georges and Princes Golf Club, plus two downland courses in nearby Walmer & Kingsdown and North Foreland. The spacious, state-of-the-art kitchen comes fully equipped with every item of kitchenware you could possibly need to rustle up anything from a snack to a gourmet meal. The main living area was the former pub's saloon bar, and in tribute to the building’s rich history has been fitted with a copper-topped bar, a perfect place to enjoy a cocktail while looking out across the water. In keeping with the pub theme, there's a second “breakfast and coffee bar” next to the kitchen, an ideal spot for a leisurely morning read. The former beer cellar has been converted into a cinema and is now a secret haven to unwind and indulge a media fix. Guests have access to fast, reliable WiFi in every corner of the property and a large washer and dryer for their personal use.
