Private suite holiday rentals in Chesil Beach

The annexe was private and contained everything that could be needed - and a bit more. The room is compact but it makes the most of the space. The bed iscomfortable, the shower ispowerful, and the breakfast was delicious. We liked that there was no TV in the room. Despite being a tad tricky manoeuvring into the parking space, being only five mins from the town centre and ten mins from the sea front meant we didn't need to use the car during our stay and having parking was a bonus. A 'loo 'repair' was needed whilst we were there and Ruth responded immediately. All in all, a good place to stay and excellent value.

Rogers place is wonderful. The beautiful rolling countryside drives, it’s in a great location near Weymouth, Lyme Regis and other peaceful beaches. Lots to do nearby in Dorset. But most of all what a fantastic host Roger is. It’s a real treat to spend time here. Thanks!

The room is well equipped and you find everything you’d possibly need. We had a great time and would recommend staying here.

Very spacious annex .Clean with comfy beds. Self service breakfast was ideal. Location very good walked or used the bus to get into the main town. We all enjoyed our stay felt right at home , a relaxing space. Thank you Amanda.

Really lovely cosy studio. Great space, comfortable bed, very well equipped kitchen. Fantastic to have bread, butter and eggs provided to make up a breakfast. George was very easy to communicate with and very welcoming. Only negative was noise of passing traffic as house is next to a road.

We loved this stay. The Annexe was perfect . Clean and tidy. We had all that we needed and access to a continental breakfast was fab. It was peaceful and quiet and our host was on hand if we needed anything which was kind. Luckily we didn’t need to disturb her. We would definitely stay again.

A lovely return stay at The Cow Shed. Despite being 3.5 years later, the place was still just as clean and well kept as it had been during our last stay at which point it was less than a year old. We enjoyed staying in summer this time so we could sit in the garden watching the cows and birds Thank you for a perfect stay 😊

Lovely and peaceful, Jo was out for the day when we arrived but left clear instructions of what to do. Easy place to find, photos don't do the gardens justice - Chewie our Cavapoo loved running around and there's no chance of him escaping which was a load of our minds - location is ideal, a hour from Lyme Regis, 30 mins to Poole and 10 to Dorchester and Weymouth so ebty of places to go and see

We had a lovely time at Shaun and Helen's place. The accommodation is very clean and spacious with a large kitchen and bathroom. It is well equipped with anything you could want. The place is very peaceful and having access to the terrace overlooking the fields and the occasional steam train was a lovely bonus. Shaun was great, giving us privacy but always available to answer our questions via the app.

Wow what a fantastic place.If you want peace and quiet then this is for you.The surrounding gardens are so lovely .Our dog loved exploring the large garden .As for the accommodation it is very well equipped .It has a fabulous view from each window,in fact if you just wanted a day indoors reading a book or watching the wildlife then this is the place to be.Its also close to alot of the well known towns and beaches ,so if looking for a beach day this is also a good place for exploring the Jurassic coast. You get a very warm welcome (along with home made cake).And very responsible when it comes to the environment ,so if you are looking for a place that does its best for this then look no further.We will defiantly be returning .Thanks for a lovely 4 nights.

Just home from a wonderful week at Lyme Reach - Jane was amazing and super helpful!! The accommodation was delightful and wonderfully quirky - our dog also felt very much at home (and made friends with little Snowie). When we visit the area again we will be sure to see if Lyme Reach is available - we had a fantastic time xx

We had a lovely weekend at Shelley's place. It was very comfortable ,even more spacious than it looked from the photos, and was exceptionally well equipped, especially in the kitchen. It was quiet, and very private, and our hosts were welcoming, but not intrusive. In short, a perfect stay!

Everything was really clean and had everything you needed. It was lovely that there was milk, tea and coffee available after a long journey. Angela and her husband came to say hello on arrival which was very nice. The apartment was so close to the beach. Good parking facilities at the house and at the beach. it would’ve been nice to have somewhere to sit outside as the sun was shining late into the evening. We had a fabulous weekend and will return for a longer stay possibly next year.

Sara and Steve are exemplary hosts - easy going, thoughtful and really generous. Their home and garden is idyllic and they share it with a natural hospitality. Highly recommend!

We had a fabulous stay at Lizi's accommodation - it was absolutely perfect & Lizi was most helpful - loved the Hot Tub in the lovely private garden. We will definitely be back !!

We had a lovely stay at the Annexe (so much so that we have planned to stay again next week). Madeline and Mark are very kind, friendly hosts! Their home is located in a beautiful and peaceful area of Dorset with lots of walks nearby. We especially loved the nearby butterfly reserve. As for the Annexe itself, it’s very comfortable and has everything you’d need for a great stay - especially if you cook at home for most meals. Madeline and Mark have a lovely garden you’re free to enjoy that’s especially lovely in the spring. It’s also wonderful that pets are allowed. We couldn’t recommend that you stay here more if you’re looking for a peaceful trip to Dorset. Very easy access to surrounding towns and nature reserves.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Coach House Airbnb in Wellington over the bank hol weekend! This charming spot was the perfect base for our house-hunting adventure – cosy, well-equipped, and in a brilliant location. Just a short stroll into the town centre meant we could easily pop out to the local pubs (plenty of choice!) and enjoy some great food and atmosphere without needing the car. The real treat, though, was the incredible walking routes right on our doorstep. We wandered over to the Wellington Basins and soaked up the peaceful scenery, even in the drizzly bank holiday weather. The hike up to the Wellington Monument was well worth the soggy shoes – dramatic skies and sweeping views made it feel like a scene from a film. Bonus moment of magic: spotting the Tornado steam train thundering through the level crossing! We felt like excited kids again. Coach House was the perfect cosy hub for us – whether drying off from a rainy trek, planning our next viewing. V V recommended
