Holiday rentals with lake access in Chesil Beach

We had a fantastic 2 night stay at the chapel. Lovely interiors, comfy beds and very peaceful surroundings. The beach is only a short drive and Stephanie recommended some delicious food options- The parlour for Italian in the coolest setting and sundorbon authentic Indian who delivered to the door…would highly recommend both! Overall a little gem!

Three of us and the dog stayed at David’s cottage and we had a wonderful time. The place was spotless when we entered, it was everything we needed. David was very communicative and helpful. We spent a lot of time in the garden as luckily the weather was in our favour and it was fenced in so the dog could run around with furniture for us to use. The cottage is in a perfect location, off of the main road so it was quiet and peaceful and just down the road from the sandbanks which we visited frequently. I highly recommend anyone interested in staying here I haven’t got a single fault! :)

Thankyou, we had a really pleasant 3 day break with friends in this lovely Dorset cottage. The views and garden were gorgeous( shared with owner) and the cottage well equipped, very comfortable and hygienic. Our host was readily available to help with any queries. We hope to return in the future. On arrival after pulling up and believing we were in someone elses private drive, I would suggest changing wording on instructions to get to house to Old Brewery( instead of Brewery Cottage) and put a sign on back gates to say Barley Cottage. This might be helpful at front too.

We had an absolutely fabulous time at the brewery. The views are outstanding. Photos cannot do it justice. Our teenagers swam in the pond multiple times each day. The sun is on the patio from morning to sunset (and wow what a sunset). We had most things that we needed and were greeted with a lovely welcome package. Lots of flexible sleeping options. We will definitely return. Thanks so much Eddie.

We had a very lovely stay. Nicola provided a high chair and travel cot to accommodate for our 10 month old baby. The hot tub was lovely and private and the views were stunning.

We booked this as a special family trip as my sister and her children were visiting from New Zealand, we wanted somewhere memorable and a bit different, Emillies place was certainly that! the photos really don't don't justice, it's a spectacular space and set in beautiful surroundings. The home was well equipped and we all agreed the beds were really comfortable- like being in a boutique hotel! and 3 bathrooms for 5 guests was amazing luxury! We had a little problem while there and Emillie sent someone round immediately to fix it! We were lucky with the weather and ale to explore the grounds and nearby Lyme, but we would have been equally happy being 'rained in' at the home!! We couldn't recommend it more highly to anyone looking for a 'something special' staycation. thanks Emillie.

This was the best air b and b stay I’ve had! It was so peaceful and quiet. I booked it for my mums birthday and she was blown away by the property. If you are looking to get away and relax this is the place! Everything was such high quality and felt very homely. Thank you ☺️

Lovely tractor house to stay in. Has all the things you’d expect in a studio flat. Not very accessible if you don’t have a car fyi (not a fault of the place at all) but otherwise lovely.

Perfect location looking across Weymouth beach & bay. A nostalgic return to our childhood holiday destination on Weymouth Esplanade. Don is a great host & obviously loves Weymouth & the surrounding area. The addition of the parking permit for a nearby carpark is a welcome bonus! Flat is ideal for a home from home get away. An absolutely beautiful place to stay. It was so quiet and peaceful, absolutely lovely walks around the lake where we saw deer and baby geese. The place itself was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. We had fresh eggs from Jo and Jay’s chickens, juice, milk and other breakfast bits. The place came with binoculars which we used on our walk around the lake and on our day at Arne. We bumped into Jo who came out of her way to say hello and to ask how everything was. I cannot fault a single thing about our stay, it was exactly what we needed to relax ans detox and we will absolutely be back in the future!

The caravan’a main living area felt much more spacious than we imagined and there was quite a good sea view. It was right by the amenities yet still quiet. Parking was a little tricky but we have a big car and you can always use the main car park which always had spaces and felt very safe. Lovely resort with friendly, helpful and professional staff.

Sheralee's apartment is in an absolutely perfect location for enjoying a holiday in Sandbanks. The views are so beautiful and peaceful of the harbour from the balcony, bedroom window and living room window. There was everything we needed in the Airbnb and we loved eating dinner on the balcony as well as at the dining table in the living room. Would highly recommend staying here and we would love to come back another time. So lovely that there is such easy access to both the harbour side (we did kayaking there) and the beach side through the Jazz Café entrance to the beach. Also, having the Tesco Express as part of the same building was really handy to buy food from!

The Hideaway is a spacious annexe with easy access through the garden. Julie is really friendly and helpful. The house is in a pleasant and quiet street, with easy parking. It's 5 mins by car to the centre of town and the beach, and 5 mins on foot to shops, including Lidl. We had a lovely time visiting family in Weymouth and would definitely come again - thank you Julie!

We had a lovely stay, very quiet and private. The onsite shop was great for picking up some small bits we forgot!

We stayed here whilst doing a Uni visit and only wished we could have stayed longer. The house is beautiful and has everything we needed. A perfect, relaxing setting. Particularly, sitting on the decking by the lake. We took our dog who also loved all the grassy areas. A lovely treat was watching from the window the rabbits & goats playing. Highly recommend!

What a beautiful location, cosy house, comfy beds and great views. The area around the cottage is lovely with a lot of wildlife. Janey is very friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely stay!

James and Emma are very welcoming hosts. Wellhayes is a peaceful haven, giving us a restorative break away from the hustle of daily life. We had a lovely relaxing afternoon using the sauna and dipping into the lake. Thank you!

Abby is very welcoming and friendly host. We loved staying at the cottage. The view was beautiful, the surroundings very peaceful, the house was very clean and comfortable. There were many things to do at the property for families with children, very big gardens, you can play outdoor games, visit the sheep. Cat named Ozzy came every morning and evening to visit. Also there is plenty of things to do near by. There is lots of suggestions in a guest book. We liked it so much we wanted to extend our stay.

We had a great stay at the Hideaway. The property is really beautiful, peaceful and relaxing, sitting in the middle of farmland and surrounded be countryside. I can really recommend the Hideaway if you are looking for somewhere to decompress and unwind. Thank you Amy for all your help.

Helen and Paul’s place is the most beautiful and thoughtfully curated Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. This home truly goes above and beyond, every room is filled with beautiful, thoughtful touches that made our stay feel so special. From homemade sourdough bread waiting for us, to individual toiletries and everything you could possibly need already provided, it was clear how much care and love has gone into creating this space. The garden was absolutely stunning, with cozy, comfortable furniture perfect for relaxing. And the hot tub under the stars! Just magical. The entire stay felt like a peaceful retreat, and we left feeling completely recharged. Helen and Paul were the perfect hosts — incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We can’t recommend this place highly enough.

We had an enchanting stay at Monks Hatch. The property was really warm, spacious and clean. The kitchen was very well equipped. Though we weren't lucky enough to spot the beavers, our 2 boys loved rambling around the lake and exploring the treehouse... Wellies recommended! Thanks also to the lovely member of staff who chatted to us on arrival all about 42 Acres.
