This was such a wonderful experience! The house was beautiful and spacious, and the host is so generous and thoughtful 😊 so thankful for all accommodations and a very helpful/resourceful host. There's a reason why this place stays booked!! If you're looking for a special vacation, this is the one! I'd love to come back next year ❤️

Beverly is so sweet! She gave us so many recommendations and always answered quickly. Not only that but she makes you feel like you are talking to a friend. Her house is beautiful whether you want a quick walk to the beach or to sit on the dock, listen to the sound and watch the sunset or see the stars. There’s a sidewalk right off the driveway that is well paved and makes for amazing walks. Overall her and her house made our trip amazing!!

Paradise!! This home makes you feel like you’re living in paradise! The pictures capture the home but to be there live is on another level! The home was extremely clean and fit our family of 7 perfectly but could have easily added more people to the home. We cooked every day and all cooking utensils we needed were in the home. We walked to Food Lion and Duck Donuts (10-15 min) because there is a sidewalk on the main road. I would absolutely come back to this home and would HIGHLY recommend The Beach House to everyone I know who would like to visit OBX.

Overall, this was a great vacation spot. Hosts were great! House was great! We had a small inconvenience with three people coming the first day to service different parts of the house, but once addressed the host’s accommodated our requests well. Location is nice!

Great location, easy access, cleanest jacuzzi I've seen, fantastic pool, close to the beach through a 100 yard trek through some brush, a path with stairs, and a mid-sized dune. Comments from my friends: 1) a lot of stairs and incline beach access for people with mobility issues. 2) Game room is completely separate from the rest of the house. 3) No staircase to top floor from the deck, but no biggie. 4) Great spaces and amenities, but bathrooms do not have fans or opening windows so watch out there.

We had a wonderful week! It was a great location, very quiet and relaxing! Everything was just as listed. Would definitely be interested in staying here again!

These people are wonderful people me and my friend had an amazing time staying at there place! The place is exactly like what you see in the pictures. You will have there downstairs room to there house they will be staying in while you are there. It’s very nice that you have a walkway with access to the backyard gate which is where you’ll find your sliding glass door to your room and bathroom. You also have access to the beach bikes and the canoe which is really nice. Me and my friend brought our Blackstone down and cooked with Brad aka Sammy Hagar , lots of cool stories were shared. I had an amazing stay and I would definitely go back in the future. These people are wonderful host and the have all the suggestions of what to do , where to go

This home waas ideally located near two beaches and a museum. There was also a great restaurant near the home. You did not have to go far to fish and the indoor pool was great.

Brittany was an excellent host who responded as soon as possible to any inquires or requests for accommodations. The house was perfect and absolutely stunning. With having a two year old with my family, there were toys there ready to play which made it even better! The view was spectacular and the hot tub was equally amazing. We had some car trouble during when packing our car during check out which made us late for check out time unfortunately and she was very friendly and understanding. The walk to the beach was easy and quick. No complaints at all! Definitely can’t wait to stay again (when the two year old isn’t teething and going through sleep regression lol). 10/10 highly recommend!

We loved Hygge By The Sea! It was a lovely one story home (one flight of stairs to access the house as is usual for the OBX) that fit our family perfectly. The house was spotless and so comfortable. We loved the laid back vibe and everyone felt right at home. Its location ocean front can't be beat.

We had a great stay at Toes in the Sand. It was even better than pictured. I was originally worried from the photos that maybe you couldn’t see the ocean from the main living floor, but you absolutely can see the ocean from nearly everywhere in the house. It’s lovely. Such a charming house, quiet, beautiful beach, and near enough to groceries, gas, and anything else you’d need. Also, had a great Oceanside dinner at Fish Heads <30 min north! I love the memories our family shared together here. Our family has vacationed in OBX several years, and Kat’s house is a true gem that stands out because we: - Walked quickly to and from the beach. Cars would stop to allow us to cross the street. - Made meals together in our well equipped kitchen. We also dined in nearby local restaurants. - Found quality supplies and equipment in laundry, bathrooms, outdoor shower, and beach closet. - Relaxed in the hot tub. All six of us fit comfortably together! The hot tub was clean, modern, and well maintained. - Soaked in amazing views on the top deck with quality, comfortable seating. - Enjoyed games like Jumanji, Tiki Toss, and Twister during rain. Next time we may try OBX Monopoly. Katherine’s service is best in class because she is proactive, thoughtful, and effective. I didn’t worry about a thing! Our guests ranged from preschool age to retired, and we all valued our stay. We appreciated your comfortable and thoughtful space. Thank you!

Kite's Inn was exactly as advertised and more. The home is beautiful, well-furnished, and the kitchen was well-equipped. We loved the location with great views of the Pamlico Sound. The House was ideal for pets and small children. The grass yard allowed our dogs to play outside and to swim in the Sound without having to worry about stepping on burs and the beach was ideal for our 1 1/2 year old grand child. The house is easy walking distance to nearby attractions and restaurants. Joshua is a great host who was responsive and proactive with ideas when we had a rainy day.

Great place to stat, really cozy and the rooms were spacious the location is also really great. Close yo a lot of nearby shops and restaurants

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I booked this OBX Airbnb while I was deployed, with the goal of reconnecting with my family and soaking up some much-needed beach time. This trip was exactly what I needed, and the experience exceeded my expectations in every way. The Airbnb itself was cozy and comfortable, located in a perfect spot to enjoy both the calm of the area and easy access to all the nearby attractions. The host made sure everything was clean and well-stocked, and the house had all the amenities we could ask for. We spent most of our time outside enjoying the beautiful weather, and the proximity to the beach made it so easy to just step outside and relax by the water. It was the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure—spending time with my loved ones, soaking in the OBX vibes, and checking out some local gems. If you're considering a trip to the Outer Banks, this Airbnb is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

This place was exactly what we were looking for. The house provided great amenities and we were able to relax and get some work done at the same time. It was quiet and relaxing with a pool and sauna, which we did get much use out of. It was just a short drive to the beaches which made for a nice day trip. Highly recommend.

I’ll review based on importance to me- First-very clean Second-very comfortable king size bed. My husband and I both slept great during g our stay Third-very conviene to beach. Easy walk to beach. I would highly recommend Amy’s place. I would suggest bringing a dish cloth and towel to help with dish cleanup. We bought a couple at the grocery store. Otherwise, nothing to add to Amy’s description. It met all of our needs and we had a fantastic stay.

We came to Rodanthe to relax and that’s exactly what we did. This is the only Airbnb in the Outer Banks that we’ve considered staying at again. This rental house was more like a home which is rare to find at the beach. So many thoughtful extras to make your stay more enjoyable. The outdoor shower was everything. I didn’t use the shower inside our whole stay. The hot tub was clean and heated up quickly. The master bed was very comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the deck talking, laughing, playing games, and enjoying the sounds of the ocean and the breeze. Beach access is right in front of the house which made for a very short walk back to use the bathroom or get a drink. I appreciated having just one flight of stairs to walk my senior dogs up and down to go to the bathroom. The host was very prompt getting back to me and answering all of my questions. We had a slight issue that was out of the host’s control but they did everything in their power to make it right.

Was a perfect place to stay for a wholesome Memorial Day girls weekend! We will definitely be coming back here and thank you Jay for helping us figure out the grill :)!

It's a vacation home and the location is the selling point. You have a view of the ocean out of most of the windows. And the sound of the waves is beautiful. Darren was extremely responsive and helpful. He was an excellent host. We would gladly go back and visit maybe at a different time because the cost was high in comparison to the others on the street. Side note; In my opinion the property management company and cleaning crew they have maintaining the home takes full advantage of the owners not living there. I hope he has appropriate conversations with them regarding their lack of.

Our stay at changing tides in the Outer Banks was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning ocean views and the short 30 second walk to the pristine beach. The house itself is a perfect blend of coastal charm and modern comfort, with a fabulous kitchen, hot tub, and very well appointed living spaces. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the thoughtful touches made our vacation effortless and relaxing. The location in Duck was ideal—close to local restaurants, shops, and attractions like iconic duck donuts haha, nearby cute places to eat , yet tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood. The host was incredibly responsive. We will definitely return.

Our stay was great. Ma was very helpful and responsive and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we need. The house was great, right on the water, very peaceful yet walkable to town.

This place were everything we hoped for and more. The house was very clean, well decorated, and well supplied with all cooking utensils and anything else you might need. It even had a good selection of spices and seasonings to use for cooking. The space under the house was a great hangout area for kids and adults alike. The view of the sound was amazing and the dock was great. The kayaks and paddle board were a very cool plus. Overall a five star experience and and we hope to come back next year!

This is an excellent house for your beach get away. It is a very clean, updated home with everything you need to love your stay in Avon. The location is great, in the middle of town. It’s an easy walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The home has a personal dock on a canal. It is a short paddle to the sound with the kayaks at the house. You can also enjoy crabbing with your family from the back yard and dock. We definitely would recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in Avon.
