This was such a relaxing stay. A beautiful home, friendly neighbors, and a great community to call home for a few days. We loved it. Thanks for everything!

I stayed at Kumi’s place for one night on my way back from a seminar with my working cadaver dog. After a week of working, it was just the relaxing space we needed! I wish we’d had time to stop for more than just a night, I will absolutely be visiting again when it’s warm enough for the pool to be open. The hot tub was delightful for my sore muscles and the shower was super nice. The plants were such a nice surprise and made me feel at home. Kumi was an excellent host and K9 Duke gives her place 4 paws up

First, the host response is exceptional. Her home is beautiful, peaceful, and is in a very nice neighborhood. It's very clean comfortable and spacious for a large family. Pool and hot tub are a plus. The condo was well maintained and included everything our family of 4 needed to have a good time. The facility offered shuttles to the distant parking area which was appreciated. The location is beautiful. Onsite food selection at the pantry is minimal, definitely recommend grocery shopping prior to arrival. The location is 20-30 minutes from attractions in Boone.

We really enjoyed the stay at the doodlebug cottage. It was clean had everything you need. The back yard was relaxing with the pool hot tub and loungers. We would like to stay again when in the area.

The property was perfect to accommodate family from out of town for a weekend nevent nearby. The house was comfortable with plenty of amenities to feel right at home. The hot tub and pool were relaxing at the end of the day. The host was friendly, flexible and responsive.

The host was very thoughtful and went above and beyond with providing a lovely gift basket and extra toiletries in case we forgot anything. She was willing to do whatever was needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Being in walking distance to the beach was nice, but the heated pool was the cherry on top. Only wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Gia’s DuckUtopia was everything we hoped it would be! There was something for everyone in my family. Although Gia provided lots of ideas and tips for the area, we loved just hanging out. The views of the sound were amazing. The pool and hot tub were perfect. My husband and son enjoyed the kayaks. My husband and daughter also enjoyed fishing for crab. Cleaning up with the outdoor shower after the beach was so easy. We loved all the amenities, especially the kitchen gadgets! All we needed to bring was food and towels for the beach. The place was clean and the neighborhood was quiet. We hope to return next year…to finish the ping pong match that got rained out! What a relaxing time! Thanks, Gia!

My husband needed to stay in the area and Ricky’s place was very convenient. He had an amazing rest time.

We loved everything about the home and location. The pool table and river brought a lot of laughs and memories made. The hosts were helpful and very responsive. We had an amazing time and thankful for the opportunity to stay in this beautiful home.

The house was beautiful, clean and had all the amenities we needed. There was not one point where we thought to ourselves "oh I wish the house had __." It had everything! Thanks for being an amazing host.

This home was a great for our family. Our children enjoyed the outdoors and indoors. The view was everything! No matter what time of day you look out it’s always spectacular 🤩

The cottage was comfy, cozy. The porch is screened in and my favorite part was sipping coffee early in the morning listening to the birds and the surf. It was very clean and well appointed. If you want to cook, plan to stop at a grocery store on your way for provisions. There’s a small convenience/grocery store on the island with limited options. Didn’t bother us, just have to plan for it. Blue Ocean Market in Morehead City had great fresh fish options, fresh wahoo was delish!

We had a great time staying in this cozy cottage. Mike was very responsive and helpful with the questions we had. This is our second time staying in this duplex. Both sides are equally as great! The small fenced in yard for the dogs and being able to sit on the porch where you can hear and see the ocean is so peaceful. Would stay again!

Murray’s mountaintop getaway is a must! There is absolutely nothing negative I could say about this home or our experience from the moment we walked in to the unfortunate moment we had to leave. The hosts provided very clear instructions on how to get to the house and quick response and answers to any questions we had. After staying here I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else. While enjoying a fire we were pleasantly surprised to see a momma bear and her 2 cubs on the balcony one night. We look forward to returning to this little bit of heaven. Book it!

We absolutely loved our stay! It was so peaceful, quiet and relaxing. The outdoor decks were simply wonderful, it felt like we were in the tree tops. Home was spotless and is so well put together. Cabin is just a few short miles from Blowing Rock which is a quaint little mountain town with great restaurants and shops. We will definitely book again when we are in the area!

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved it! The octogon style of the place, along with the rooptop swing, was very unique. Went up there many times for meals with an unbeatable view. Also has a lovely neighborhood-owned waterfall that was just a 10 minute drive away. All amenities were as indicated, the place was clean, and instuctions were clear and easy. Some things to note are that the bedrooms/common areas all share the same ceiling, so noise and lights are not isolated, and the bedrooms can't currently be locked. Not an issue for us though. Would definitely recommend!

How can I give more than 5 stars?? This place was breathtaking!!! Pictures didn’t do this place justice, so I know my words won’t.. from the fully stocked kitchen to the squeaky clean rooms, to the most stunning view I’ve ever seen…. This place is a masterpiece! Communication was top tier. On arrival, we noticed they forgot to leave our logs for our fire that we’d paid for in advance. Within hours, the logs were dropped off right to our doorstep. We made smores and brought our own metal smores sticks. Bring that was one of the things the Airbnb didn’t have, We decided to leave our metal smores sticks for other guest to enjoy in the future. Kitchen had top notch cooking pots, pans, dishes, and seasonings. Bring your own paper towels though as they only provide you with one roll regardless how long your stay is.

The view was amazing, and the whole reason I specifically booked this house, and I was certainly not disappointed. The house was as listed, felt very comfy, was clean, everything as expected. I would highly recommend this rental and plan on coming back.

We loved our stay at Villa Nirvana. It felt homey and comfortable, while also offering such a cool stylish retro charm. We loved having both a screened porch and uncovered porch with sitting and dining options for both. The remote-controlled fireplace was so nice to have, both for ambiance and an effective warmup all through the house. Even the bathroom was awesome — super clean, lots of storage with a very effective heater, good water pressure and a super helpful fold down bench. Oh yeah, and a huge washer and dryer came in handy as well! We stayed over a week and it was just so wonderful to have a place that really felt like a home (albeit one we aren’t likely to ever afford haha). Thanks again Barbara! Barbara was a wonderful host - a great combination of laid back and attentive.

The sunsets from the porch are gorgeous. It is not only impressive that this home was built in just the perfect spot to catch an amazing sunset, but also nestled in the middle of Fontana Lake with a great view of the lake. I can’t say enough about this location! I’ve grown up coming to the Carolina’s and never knew about Fontana Lake. This cabin feels incredibly secluded and luxurious, but close enough to all the best adventure spots—Nantahala, Deep Creek, Smoky National Park, Fontana Lake access points, Appalachian Trail—you name it. There is even a great trailhead walking distance from the cabin that has great views of the lake, creeks, and challenging and diverse enough to walk 2-3x. We saw deer and wild turkey almost everyday and the wildflowers were in bloom all over. Additionally, the master bedroom has an amazing view from the bed. When I opened my eyes each morning, I had a view of the smokies that was mesmerizing. We all want to rent this cabin again!

We had a fabulous stay in this amazing place! We felt right at home and the amenities were top-notch. Everything felt super luxurious and the space was beautiful. What a great experience! Such a fun find!!

Redstone mansion was where we decided to have our wedding at. We used the main mansion for family and our wedding and the guesthouse for the us the newly weds. The guesthouse was also perfect for getting ready as the bridal suite. Ash, the property manager was amazing and always eager to help. Even after the wedding we had some questions about the hot tub and such and had quick responses back. This was a beautiful place to get married and recommend for 60 people and under weddings :) will be back to just have a relaxing stay next! Also remember a four wheel drive!!
