Treehouse holiday rentals in North Carolina

We had a wonderful weekend retreat in this rustic cabin on the Cape Fear River. Host Lane was proactive in communicating instructions, check-in readiness, and was responsive to questions. We loved walking around the wooded property and the views of the river and large fishing pond were spectacular. If you enjoy the outdoors and camping with an upgrade, you must experience The Tree House.

Michael was a great host. Location was great, very peaceful and a short drive to a private beach for local residents. Had great recommendations as well. Appreciate the stay!! Greg

Charles hosting my family for our first family vacation, and first trip to North Carolina. Upon arrival, he greeted us and was so kind and welcoming. We got into the treehouse with ease, and if we had any type of question during our stay it was answered promptly. The treehouse was gorgeously crafted, and decorated with care. It was the perfect size for my husband and I, our daughter (6), and son (5mo). It was also a short drive to the local grocer, restaurants, and beach access points. All around we had a lovely trip and have Charles to thank for it.

I took a group of teenagers to the treehouse for my son 16th birthday. It was perfect as I had my own bedroom and they got to stay together. There was lots for them to do but also a great time to unplug and just spend quality time together and not stay on their phones like they usually do.

I really enjoyed myself here with my boyfriend and bonus son. We came for Father’s Day for one night and it was definitely what we had hoped! Camp vibes! I’ll def be coming back but trying the other treehouses. It was so amazing! Trent very responsive and I overslept (it was so peaceful) I almost missed my checkout time. Trent was nice enough to give me an extra hour to get ourselves together! All hosts should be like this!!. Thanks Trent!

WOW!! Robin’s cabin is truly amazing. There is a beautiful stream in front of the cabin and a second one right off the side deck….literally a few feet away. There is a continuous sound track of running water whenever you walk outside or even open the door. The cabin feels much larger than the pictures. Well decorated, comfortable and fully stocked. Do yourself a favor and don’t think twice about booking this cabin.

Chimney Rock Treehouse is an amazing place to stay. The pictures really don't do it justice. The tree house itself is absolutely beautiful and has a gorgeous view of Chimney Rock from the porch. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The place is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need minus you, your clothes, and some food. We both loved the rainfall shower and hot tub. Even though it rained the entire time, it was comfortable and homey enough to stay in and truly enjoyed it. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had and excellent recommendations for food in the area. We are already planning on coming back in the future! 10/10 highly recommend!!!!

Absolutely loved our time at the hideaway. Of course we have no control of the weather and certainly would have loved less rain but we made the most of it! The pool area is a backyard dream and we loved hanging out and enjoying some family time. Nearby restaurants and so many shops with lots to do. Place was clean and the host was the most responsive Air Bnb host we have ever had. Extremely accommodating and helpful. Would recommend, 5 stars! Thanks for a great trip.

We absolutely ❤️ this cabin. We wanted a peaceful retreat to spend New Year’s Eve and start 2025 with our 2 teen girls — this place far exceeded our expectations! The photos dn't do it justice. The drive up the mountain is an adventure on its own; while 4x4 or AWD is helpful, it's not essential IMO. We loved the privacy and stunning views from every corner of the house! Beds were very comfortable. Cabin was cozy, well-stocked, and had the perfect layout for spending time w family/friends. The hammock on the main floor porch was a favorite—perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. The jacuzzi was fantastic—spacious, clean, and offers great Mountain Views! The host was exceptional!!! We've had great hosts before, but Chris is by far, the best Airbnb host we’ve ever had —attentive, welcoming, personable, provided clear instructions and offered excellent suggestions. We wholeheartedly recommend this gem and would love to return! Thank you for being an amazing host, Chris!

This is a Well thought out airbnb. Attention to details in so many ways. Honest and completely straight forward of what to expect. Definitely recommend for a stay for 2. Though plenty of outdoor space is available (deck amd underneath the tree house) you'd have to be creative to make it work for 4. An exceptional find!

This was by far my favorite air bnb I have stayed at. Especially when it rained.. it made me feel like a kid again being in a tree house except a much more elegant tree house.. the simplicity of it was perfect. I’d recommend anyone to stay here. Thank you to Joanna for allowing us to stay here. Btw she was the best host. I was never left wandering about anything. She gets right back to you with answers to any question you may have.

Our stay was perfect! Easy to understand instructions and simple check-in. We had a family emergency and Diana was gracious enough to allow us to change our reservation around. The house was stunning with a great view right off the back deck! My partner and I enjoyed spending time by the fire in the afternoon followed by a dip in the hot tub. The atmosphere is perfect for a romantic getaway in the mountains and the hosts were fantastic! Will definitely be coming back!

My wife and I had a lovely retreat to Deserea's property outside of Asheville. Proximity to the city was very good (~15 - 20 min depending where) and the quaint town of Black Mountain is also close by (~ 15 min). Hundreds of restaurants / shops are at your fingertips! At the same time, the property itself is quite secluded on the mountain-side. Perfect for anyone looking to get away to the woods, without needing to pack up / lug your camping gear. Access requires 4WD/AWD due to the gravel drive up the mountain, but any competent driver can make it up.

Had a great time at the Red Wolf Cabin. The place was very cozy and not far from a lot of great places to view the mountains and hike about. I knew I would miss the views when I got home, but I am surprised how much I miss the kitchen! Only downside was I wasn't able to use the hot tub due to circumstances outside of our control for the visit due to the holiday weekend. Still had a great time! Recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway

Great place for our weekend away with everything you need. We loved watching the fog lift while drinking coffee on the porch in the morning and being able to walk to downtown restaurants and breweries. The chalet is nestled amongst the trees and, while there are nearby houses, it felt very peaceful and private. Jeff and Bahnie were great hosts with loads of local recommendations and communicated well, even checking on us following a power outage due to a thunderstorm. Would highly recommend.

My partner and I had a WONDERFUL time staying here and definitely plan to come back! It is beautiful, clean, private, peaceful, and very romantic. It is decorated in a lovely and homey way. So cozy. Jennifer is also great and super communicative and accommodating! Definitely recommend for a private solo getaway or for a romantic weekend as a couple.

Highly recommend this Airbnb! The view is also stunning and the location is peaceful. Greater for those who love Harry Potter and those who just want a relaxing weekend away.

I had a great stay at Jennifer's place. The cabin is so peaceful and feels very secluded while still being accessible to the restaurants and shopping in Boone. Jennifer was very responsive and helpful with any questions, and there is full binder of suggestions for the area. There were nice little touches for anyone traveling with dogs as well. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this cabin!

The Treehouse was fantastic from the moment we arrived to the moment we departed. Tiffany has created an incredibly unique and inviting space amongst the forested Black Mountain area. The space was clean and the surroundings beautiful. Directions were easy to follow and she was responsive to all of our questions. We would definitely stay again!
