The Old Barn, Buxton - A Dream Come True

It's rare to find a place that's both historic and modern. It has been my dream to renovate the unique and private barn at our Grade 2 family home and finally it has happened! I would love to share it with you. Ours is one of the oldest houses in Buxton dating back to the seventeenth century and was once a coaching stop on the medieval road to London. It is now a boutique property set near the common, ideally situated to explore the Peak District yet just a short walk into the town centre.

Smithy Bungalow, private parking included, Buxton.

Smithy Bungalow is in central Buxton, with private parking. Check in 3PM, check out 12PM. Designed for 2 but can sleep 4 people; the bedroom has a king bed with an en suite and the lounge has a double sofa bed with a toilet and sink in the utility room serving the lounge. Dogs are welcome; we just ask that guests keep them off the beds and sofas. Bed linen, towels, cooking utensils plus some basic cleaning and cooking condiments provided but no toiletries for environmental reasons.

Roachside Cottage

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Roachside Cottage is situated in the beautiful Roaches Estate, a former private estate and grouse moor, now owned by the Peak District and cared for by the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust. The cottage comfortably sleeps 6 people, comprising of 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed downstairs. The views from every angle of the property are utterly breathtaking. Kingfisher Cottage

Kingfisher Cottage is attached to Bridge House, situated in the Peak District village of Bamford and benefits from a beautiful view of the River Derwent. The Cottage, which is within walking distance of Bamford train and bus station and local shops, has it's own garden and seating area on the bank of the river. The Cottage has private access and parking is available. Fly fishing is also available by arrangement with hosts.
