Family-friendly holiday rentals in Brighton and Hove

We were 4 friends staying as a birthday celebration. We had a lovely time and thoroughly chilled. The house had comfy beds, lots of room, was very clean and everything was as described. Sarah was very responsive and quick to help where needed. It was a perfect 3 days away for us.

Great place to stay had everything needed for a family to stay at and was very child friendly. The hosts were very accommodating with any asks requests would definitely recommend!

Great place at in a wonderful location for exploring East Sussex. Well equipped place with everything we needed, and a lovely hot tub to boot! Sam was a great host- before the trip with super clear directions and check in instructions, and then when we arrived, so helpful in showing us how everything worked, and giving some tips on exploring the local area. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

This was our fourth time at Jane's home. We always have a brilliant time and this was no exception. We love the little quirky features of the house, the location right on the beach and always feel very comfortable and at home. Thanks Jane - I'm sure we'll be back again!

Ingram House is a beautiful house with an amazing, beautiful garden.We had a wonderful stay.Antonio responded to all messages quickly but the star of the check in/communication whilst there was Shirley the wonderful housekeeper.Such a lovely lady, who made contact before we arrived to confirm all details, meet us for check in and check out and responded to any queries during our weekend.The house has 5 bedrooms/2bathrooms upstairs and 1 bathroom plus additional toilet downstairs. A great kitchen,a lounge with seating for everyone plus a delightful dining room. To us the best place was the garden. At least 5 different ‘spaces’ to sit with tables and chairs, a great BBQ area by the kitchen, its just a beautiful, relaxing garden where we sat and enjoyed the afternoon (we were lucky with the weather). The only slight downside to us was the road noise. The windows at the front of the house have secondary double glazing which helps to reduce the noise. We would happily stay there again

On arrival we immediately felt at home. The surrounding area was beautiful and the grounds were large and very child friendly. My grandson chose this area to do his 4.5Km charity walk during his time here. The jacuzzi was a big hit. The house was also large and accommodated 6 adults and five children between 5 yrs to 10 yrs. with ease. A modern kitchen was very well equipped with good quality items, it was very large and easy to work in, even the larder was well stocked with essentials. You could tell that Tim, our host, takes pride in the house, furnishing it with many William Morris fabrics, amongst others, tasteful art, plus original wooden features etc. Crisp linen and decent size bathroom towels. Tim, an all round lovely chap, popped in to welcome us with a gift of local produce from a local farm shop.....the raspberry jam was to die for. games and books were aplenty also. We are hoping to return again. I will, without a doubt recommend Tim's property.

Wendy-Jane was an exceptional host, her home was beautiful and very cozy, with a gorgeous and very friendly cat. We loved the surroundings and the scenery. Wendy had a stunning selection of books on her shelves and CDs in her collection. The home was perfect for us, and we would love to return. The hot tub is an great addition and it was lovely to chill out in at the end of the day. There's lots to do in the surrounding area with a very charming in right opposite the house and another pub down the road with an abadondoned castle next door. And a short drive from both Hastings and Eastbourne made for a perfect weekend get away!!

Thank you so much Martin. We all really enjoyed staying at yours - it was perfect. So clean and homely despite being made amazingly guest ready. Martin was a proactive and friendly host who was so sensitive to our needs (as we'd been through a difficult time as a family). Instructions were thorough. clear and helpful. Check in and check out was as flexible as possible. We also appreciated the bottle of bubbles as well as all the other basics like tea, coffee, etc. Martin's additional info on getting to & from our evening entertainment/venue was invaluable & beyond helpful. Thanks again and all the best for the future 😊

Such a fantastic stay at Brett & Cheryl’s house! They were so helpful and responsive to all my questions, and Brett went above and beyond allowing early and late check in and sorting working permits for us. The house was spotless when we arrived and exactly as described. The kitchen had useful extras like washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and tea bags. We loved the quirky decor and the garden area was such a bonus! The location is ideal - so close to the station, shops, beach and things to do. We had a truly wonderful hen weekend!

Jo was a great host so friendly and very welcoming , Jo even sent useful videos of how to find the house . The house was beautiful so spacious and comfortable with beautiful gardens . The kitchen was so well equipped there was everything I needed to cook a birthday dinner for my mum . The info folders at the house were great and answered any questions we had . We really enjoyed our stay from start to finish .

Deuxième séjour chez Philip au Old Photographic Studio. Tout s’est une nouvelle fois parfaitement bien passé, nous adorons le lieu et son atmosphère ! Philip est très accueillant et d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle. Notre avion a eu beaucoup de retard et il était malgré tout là tard dans la nuit pour nous accueillir. Le logement est d’une propreté impeccable et parfaitement équipé, la vue sur la mer est fort agréable. Nous avons déjà hâte d’y retourner !

Emplacement parfait proche du centre et du bord de mer. Tout ce qui est nécessaire pour cuisiner est là. Petit patio parfait et tranquillité assurée. Lit tout à fait convenable. Peut être plus adapté pi un couple car la chambre à coucher est la mezzanine. Joli geste dans le frigo merci. Je recommande ce lieu

Fantastic Christmas stay in beautiful Bramshott village. Olivia and Ed really helped us out when another host let us down at short notice. Cannot thank them enough for their flexibility, and for allowing our extended family to have a wonderful Christmas together. Olivia and Ed are great hosts, very quick and clear with communication, and happy to help with any questions we had. Highly recommend this home and location for large families. We easily accommodated 9 of us. Lots to do nearby, with great restaurants, pubs and local walks. Thanks again for a fabulous stay!

We spent a lovely week at Alison's farm. Beautiful location near charming Ticehurst and Wadhurst (both have good Pubs), incredible views across open countryside and hills from the heated outdoor pool, which our daughter loved. Slides, swings and a trampoline bonus points with kids. Alison was friendly and helpful. The Shed itself is warm and comfortable, kitchen is kitted out for basic meals, and the two ensuite bathrooms are super spacious and have good showers with hot water plus bathtubs. There is so much to do in the area from beautiful walks, tastings at vineyards, to cyclyng in Bedgbury, boating in Bewl Water and seaside beauties Rye and Camber in the vicinity.

Carrie is a fantastic host and we enjoyed our stay at her place. The cottage has everything you need for a long family stay. And families with young kids will enjoy extra stuff like high chairs and toys. There is also a nice private garden and the bbq area.

If you are looking for a home from home or an upgrade from home, this is the place to stay. Arrived from Melbourne and immediately settled into the joy of living in the countryside. Although too cold to enjoy the pool, we did use the tennis court and shot some hoops. We walked to Old Thorns Golf and Country Club and can recommend Katie's Coffee bar. It's an easy walk amongst stunning scenery. We walked back via the Foley Estate from the Deers Hut pub. Liphook is so lucky to have not one but two stunningly beautiful golf courses. If their is a heaven on earth, we must have stayed in its guest house!

Fantastic place - beautifully appointed and thoughtful hospitality from Martin and Ana. Full kitchen, options for indoor or outdoor dining including outdoor heating which was lovely for leisurely evening meals. The bathroom is downstairs, which might not work for everyone but wasn’t a concern for us, and actually works really well when you’re in and out of the pool all afternoon! We will be recommending to others :)

For my first holiday away with my 2 beautiful children I honestly couldn’t have wished for a better stay. The cottage is beautiful, the gardens and surrounding grounds are stunning, simply a lovely place to be. We spent a lot of time in the cottage and use if the new fire pit in the evenings as it was so peaceful and relaxing. 2 main attractions for us were Pooh Corner with Ashdown Forrest for all your Winnie the Pooh adventures, and Hever Castle which is a lovely day out. Tennis courts and a lovely pool to boot ❤️❤️❤️ Caroline left some beautiful touches, some Easter treats for my children and a host of food and fresh juice, lovely 😍❤️

This house is absolutely fantastic. Our group of 9 including a teen and two 9-year-olds stayed very comfortably for a week with a typically English mix of weather and the house accommodated us amply. The spaces were all individual, relaxing and full of beautiful furniture and art, we loved the characterful high-ceilinged garden room and the sitting room big enough for all 9 of us to play games. All the first floor bedrooms were large with comfortable beds and generous storage, and the second floor attic with two bedrooms and a relaxing space between was a great little world away. The rambling garden and the tennis court, trampoline, warm pool and table tennis were a real hit with our group. Locally there was something for everyone, highlights including great walks from the house along the river and up onto the spine of the South Downs, and garden visits to High Beeches and Sussex Prairie Gardens. Enzo and Lucy are well deserved superhosts, we would return in a heartbeat.
