Welcome! The house is situated by the foot of internationally famous "Hammars Backar" , some 15 km east off medieval town of Ystad. Between the house and the sea it´s only about 300 meters of untouched nature ( the whole area is a Nature Reserve)! Cows rule! The house is very big, and hosts an architectual practice as well as the spacious living area. However, the office is closed during the summer, and you´ll get the house and garden all to yourselves. In the middle of Österlen, in the charming fishing village of Brantevik, this cozy house is located just 300 meters from the sea. Here you can enjoy the tranquility with the lush garden outside the windows, take a dip in the sea, stroll along the beach meadows, or read a good book in the hammock. If the weather is bad, you can warm up in the Jacuzzi, sauna or in front of the fireplace. The garden has a patio on both the front and back (east/north/west), so both breakfast and dinner can be eaten in the morning sun. Charcoal grill (Weber) is available.

The location of the house is perfect for bicycle rides and hiking along the coast. Rocky swimming areas, wonderful white beaches nearby. Three bicycles (as well as two for children) that can be borrowed for free. Our guest house is located in a village with several restaurants/cafés that are mainly open in the summer. You'll like the little charming house because of the tranquility, the secluded garden and the proximity to the sea. The house is only about 150 meters from the beach. The accommodation is best suited for couples or small families.

If you go south, you will experience the genuine Brantevik that turns into the beautiful "Grönet" that offers both lovely swimming by cliffs or calm, peaceful walks along the sea. If you go north, a lovely walking and cycling path awaits you to the picturesque Simrishamn.

At the beach in Brantevik is a small guest house overlooking the sea and where only a short walk separates the house from the water. Architect Bengt Lindroos. There are four single beds, two in the loft and two in a sofa bed (but the house is small for 4 adults). There is also a small kitchenette, with two hotplates, microwave and refrigerator as well as a toilet, shower and washing machine. If you need additional beds, there is a nice shed next to the house that can be rented for an additional fee.
