From the decking, you jump into the water, or you sail away with the paddle board or with the rowing boat! From the large kitchen, you can look out over the water. With a staircase down, you enter the living room where it is wonderful to spend time, and you are on the same floor as the water. One level lower are the bathroom and bedrooms, and you are "face to face" with the water.

Get away from it all, enjoy nature on the edge of the IJsselmeer and beach. In the 3300m2 backyard of our farmhouse are two detached tiny houses with a large private garden and private entrance with lots of privacy. The cottage is within walking distance of the historic city of Medemblik and close to Hoorn and Enkhuizen. Amsterdam is 45 minutes away. Various possibilities for water sports. Beach, ports, shops etc. reachable within 5 minutes by car and 25 minutes on foot.

Since July 2020, our guest house has been open for bookings: A renovated old barn, located on the grounds of our 1804 farm, located on 4.5 acres of grassland. Ideal for 1-4 people, a 5th guest is welcome. 2 double beds + 1 stretcher. On request: 1 cot and 1 travel bed. It is completely independent. Vogels als Meerkoeten, Zwanen, IJsvogels, Kuifeenden zwemmen voor de boot om zich te voorzien van voedsel in het ondiepe water voor de boot. Fietsen, wandelen het bos in aan de andere kant van de dijk. historie opsnuiven in de polder of diverse attracties in de buurt bezoeken. Hier is voor ieder wat te doen.

Relax and relax in this just refurbished cozy little water house. Take a dip in the swimming water or throw out your fishing rod. Shower down under the luxurious outdoor shower with hot & cold water. Optionally, you can take a nice boat trip on the lake, we rent the boat with a powerful electric whisper motor.
