The micro house is located in peaceful and scenic surroundings in Solbakken farmyard on Os. In front of the house is Gallery Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden that is always open to the public. Around the house goats graze, and you have a view of some free-range chickens, and some alpacas on the other side of the road. The house has terraces on both sides, where it is lovely to sit and take in the surroundings and feel the peace. There are also great hiking trails nearby.

You can definitely get around by public transport, however, a rental car will normally be preferable. "With a view to the sea" is the name of our rental flat. It is situated in Skuteviken, one of the old historical areas close to the city of Bergen. Our house is a private family house, built in 1875, and has a lovely view to the fjord and the sea entrance of Bergen. You can sit outside in the evenings and watch the sunsets from the Terrace just outside the flat. You can easy walk to the city center or to the mountain from our house.
