What an amazing little get away. So picturesque, quiet and simple. Amazing views and rustic living just what the soul needs. From soaking in the hot tub under the stars listening to the Moore pork and kiwi to lounging on the deck during the day this place was luxury to us. Not too far from some of northlands amazing coastline. Would certainly recommend.

We booked two-nights last minute and appreciated Anna's responsiveness. The secluded setting was very relaxing - as was the outdoor soak. We paddled to the ocean and went for a night walk to see the glow worms. Encourage anyone looking for a peaceful location to consider this option.

We loved our 3 night stay at Linda's place, great location, spotlessly clean and homely. The beds are very comfortable and the home is well equipped. Linda was a great host !

A truly unique and wonderful place where you can get away from it all and enjoy being surrounded by endless rolling green hills - while still being nice and close (20 or so mins) to stunning beaches and coastline. The attention to detail is incredible and Leah couldn’t have been a better, more kind or helpful host. Would definitely recommend

Fantastic stay. Felt at home straight away. Diane was so lovely and accommodating. She told us to feel at home and was very accommodating to our little dog who had the best time ever. My father said he wanted to move in ! we would definitely stay again and recommend to others

Dee was the most amazing host! We stayed with her during a sad occasion for my family. She was so accomodating and went out of her way to make sure we were looked after. She was understanding when we had extra family members (including our dogs) which meant a lot. Thank you Dee for your manaakitanga! Forever grateful.

We were looking for somewhere to unwind and relax and Jan’s flaxpod was the perfect spot. Quiet and private and right beside a gorgeous lake, we spent every morning having a leisurely breakfast on the sunny deck. The kitchen was incredibly well kitted out, beds were comfortable, and shower was strong - everything in the house was nice quality including a great little soundbar speaker to play music. Jan was lovely to deal with we appreciate her kindness and how proactive she was.

Do not miss the chance to book this lovely place. If I could, I would give more than 5 stars. This was our best Arbnb during our New Zealand trip. The place has lots of space in the "Living room" and garden, so our Baby had plenty of space to crawl and explore. The view is so beautiful, the garden private and peaceful, the price fair. Everthing was tidy and clean and well equiped. On top, Sarah is a delightful host; so friendly, helpful and responsive. What more could you with for?

We had the most incredible stay at Wahapu Lodge. Nestled in the bush, it provides privacy with the most amazing view. It truly is one of the most beautiful places we've stayed.

A lovely small place in the middle of nature yet close enough to all facilities. Very calm - no other people around. Very comfortable and great view especially for sunset. Really nice host. We will definitely come back!

This place is magical! You are not just paying for accommodation but a complete experience. Attention to detail is impeccable and the location superb. There’s a short walk in but the path is well maintained. We didn’t want to leave, it was so peaceful and then the stars came out!

This place was very well equipped compared to some others we’ve been in. Shayne was welcoming and friendly and we felt right at home. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here in the lovely little country cabin. The location is just a short drive from the Kauri Museum and the Waipoa Forest. Both of which we would highly recommend!

Loved our stay at the Bee Keepers Cottage. An idyllic spot with everything needed to make the stay super comfortable. Maureen was wonderful and assisted us with an early check in. Breakfast was delicious. Thanks so much. Highly recommend

Ursula’s cottage was very spacious and contained everything we needed for our 3 night stay. The location was perfect for walking to the Town Basin on walking trails, not roads. Although we didn’t meet Ursula her online contact was friendly and proactive.

Sarah really made us feel at home. Such a lovely place. Quiet pretty location in the valley. Short drive from town. Perfect sanctuary. Great place to come back to at the end of a busy day. Would definitely come back here.
