Doves Bay was a wonderful place to unwind. Such a treat to wake up to the beautiful view. We loved having breakfast on the deck in the morning sun, watching the tuis and fantails flit through the garden. Even heard kiwis calling at night, and the stars on a clear night are incredible. There’s a lovely walk down to the beach. Ivan and Vivienne were lovely, thoughtful hosts and the place was well-equipped, superbly clean and very comfortable.

Antje's place is a real gem. It is ideally located for exploring the Bay of Islands and is super comfortable. Antje is a wonderful host, with many local recommedations. We loved our stay and hope to be back. Highly recommended!

An absolute dream house! Stunning apartment with a gorgeous view. You definitely feel like spending a holiday with style :) Breakfast at Seaside restaurant are mind blowing! Best coffee in town. Plus! You get a discount :) We had the best time there. Will definitely recommend and we will repeat! Thanks!

The Boathouse was in pristine condition and the view is stunning. We also loved watching the ferries come and go just outside. Beautiful run to Paihia and a walk back. Recommend The Blue Door in Paihia for breakfast.

This place was amazing from the easy and private access way to the beach to the great restaurants down in the road to the main centre. We loved walking up and having our breakfast over looking the bay. Definitely a gem of a place!

The space is well designed and has a great feel to it. It’s in a good location to explore the surrounding areas and has all the essentials you need for a stay in the Bay of Islands. The host was friendly and communicated well. Would definitely recommend this spot!

We can’t wait to come back here. We were four couples, two young children. The house and facilities gave everyone plenty of space to relax and enjoy time together. It’s a great space with plenty to do.

We had a wonderful weekend and created some truly beautiful memories in this stunning home. The fireplace was a lovely touch, especially during the chilly mornings and evenings. The kitchen was modern, stylish and very practical, with a massive island bench that worked perfectly for our group. It made cooking and sharing meals together so easy and enjoyable. The hosts were readily available through the Airbnb app whenever we had questions, and they graciously allowed us a slightly later check-out as we were having such a beautiful weekend. The instructions for using the house facilities and checking out were clear and really helpful. The spa pool was amazing and added an extra layer of relaxation to an already perfect weekend. I will definitely be coming back again. Thank you for such a memorable stay.

Fantastic place. Very well placed for the beaches and only a short drive into Mangonui for restaurants. Very comfortable beds, beautiful bathrooms. Highly recommended.

It is a fabulous place to stay for families and the additional equipment that they have for the families to use is amazing. The setting is glorious and outlook is stunning. The Bay its self is very safe for children to undertake water activities. The hosts were lovely and went above and beyond with additional options for linen because of the rainy weather conditions. We would have no hesitation in booking to stay again.

We had the best stay at Linda’s property. The quiet little town of Russel was incredible, and everything was within walking distance from the house. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed for a fantastic week. Linda is an incredible host, and was able to help us whenever we had questions. We could not recommend this place more!

We had a fantastic time at Nikki and Chris’s place. The house is spacious, comfortable, and set in beautiful surroundings. Even in winter, we made the most of the backyard and loved relaxing in the spa pool. The bedrooms can get a bit chilly, but the extra blankets were a thoughtful touch. The fireplace kept the rest of the house warm and cosy throughout our stay. The beds were super comfortable, and the house was spotless. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time at this property. Apart from the views (which are amazing) the accommodations were fantastic and well maintained. This is somewhere I would definitely stay again if I am back in Paihia.
