House holiday rentals in Bathgate

We loved our stay! Everything was clean and the bedroom were very nice with comfortable beds. The house had a very cozzy feeling to it. We didn’t had the right plugs for the phone charger and they were nice enough to borrow us 4. On the day of our check out we needed ice to put in the insulin container of my mom and they went above and beyond to get some ice for us, really thankful for that! Overall I would really recommend this place. Location was great too, close by to the beach and restaurants and just 1 hour away from Edinburgh

Host was very friendly with very good communication throughout. On arrival the host made it very easy to get into the lodge and came in and explained all amenities on site and was very polite. Overall, throughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend and return.

A fabulous lodge on a great site. So comfortable with everything you could want. Beautiful bedding and towels. Great showers. Lovely 5 ring cooker and plenty pits and pans. Tanya was great leading up to the visit making sure we had all the info we needed. Very responsive when we had one or two questions. The only minor issue we had is that there is no terrestial tv due to location. We had to use apps on our phone. Highly recommended.

We loved the house and Drymen. The added bonus of the use of the pool, sauna and jacuzzi was brilliant. The house was comfortable and homely. Drymen was a lovely little village with lovely pubs, cafes and walks. Along the road there was a beautiful view out over Loch Lomond. I would really recommend. Jim was super helpful and let us in a little bit early, thank you so much.

Scots place was beautiful. Lots to do inside and outside. Kids had lot of fun as there were toys scooter and bike. There was colouring books and pens card games kids did not get enough time as we only booked for one night. Scott was kind and he extended our check out. Kids made the most out of it. Not far away from Edinburgh castle which was our holiday plans to explore Edinburgh city. Clean kitchen and toilet and shower. We had everything we needed in the caravan. Thanks Scott for making the one night stay comfortable. You are a star

The park itself is a 1 way system and the caravan was quite high up. However we stopped to speak to groundsmen on site who straight away said follow me I’ll take you to the caravan. All staff were lovely. The caravan was as described. Very homely and modern. The outdoor space is amazing with lovely rattan furniture and hot tub. We used the hot tub everyday and it’s big enough for 6 people. The weather unfortunately wasn’t on our side all week so we didn’t dine outside. However I would definitely return. We had a slight issue with heating the first night. Lisa was back and forth messaging and said she would contact staff at reception to rectify the next day. However this was sorted over text in the end. An amazing stay, great views across the water. It was beautiful x

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, Douglas is an attentive host who was available when needed. The bungalow was equipped with everything we needed for cooking and resting which was much appreciated as our stay was over Christmas! Douglas very kindly gifted some wine and chocolates and he was there for our arrival to show us around the house, giving some useful information on nearby shops, places to eat and things to do. We were unfortunate with the weather; however, the bungalow was very cosy and thoughtfully decorated for Christmas and time spent inside looking out at the fabulous views made up for it!

Le logement de Dorothy est parfait pour découvrir l'Ecosse. Très beau, chaleureux, propre, grand avec toutes les commodités. Nous nous y sommes sentis comme chez nous. Idéalement situé, il permet de découvrir la région sans difficultés. Mais cela est sans compter sur la gentillesse de Dorothy qui rend le séjour inoubliable. Dorothy nous vous remercions :-)

This cottage is in the country with amazing views. You will need a car to get around. The accommodation is clean and homey and everything is provided. Things I appreciated most:-lots of towels, a washing machine with a clothes airer, well stocked kitchen cupboards with a large selection of crockery and serving dishes etc, washing up liquid and soap etc. The only thing I missed was a coffee machine or cafetière but I improvised.

Peaceful and quiet location perfectly situated to explore the local area. Comfortable and well equipped home with multiple large / spacious living spaces and an extensive well maintained garden.

Lovely property and grounds! The only issue we had was that every taxi driver struggled to find the property. The postcode directs them to the property next to The Doocot and there is no sign to highlight the name of the property.

4 Golfers from Canada. After spending 8 nights in St Andrews we wanted to finish our trip with 2 night stay close to Edinburgh. Kate's place was perfect! It's Beautiful , very spacious , super clean, close to Dalmahoy golf course and about 20 min drive to all the Edinburgh attractions for day tours. We loved our stay at Kate's place. would highly recommend.

Had a fantastic nights stay here , very relaxed , bed super comfy loved the bath in bedroom , very nice touch with Prosecco would highly recommend and would stay again , thanks Ryan

This was a lovely spot and perfect for our family of 4. We were able to utilize the bus stop right up the road. Thank you to the owners for being so responsive and working with us during our stay!

Great stay and would love to return. Heather’s home is inviting, very clean and cozy. We felt welcomed immediately. The decorating is lovely and the grounds are perfect for two dogs. The location is so easy for quick grocery runs and trips into Edinburgh on the train from Linlithgow. One of our favorite AirBnB stays. Only thing to pay attention to is, if you have dogs, the road is busy and cars are moving at 60mph. I don’t recommend walking them as you have to cross the street. We drove them to some spots and walked around like Swanson’s Farm to see the highland cows. They loved it and it was an easy workaround. The garden is plenty big enough for dog exercise and not having to go anywhere!

La maison est relativement spacieuse pour 2 personnes, et située à moins de 10 min à pied de la station de train Inverkeithing. Porte à porte, on peut donc être à Edinburgh en 30 min, ce qui est bien pratique. Leon a été très réactif lorsque nous avions des questions. Il nous a aidé à ajuster le chauffage, et nous a amené une couverture supplémentaire lorsque nous lui avons demandé. Quelques points à noter cependant : le lit est assez mou, et la lumière passe pas mal à travers les rideaux de la chambre, donc prévoyez bien un masque pour les yeux si vous y êtes sensibles.

Melissa’s flat has been put together with so much thought, it is stylish, cosy, and comfortable. It is perfectly located to be walkable for all the main sites in Edinburgh and has lots of nice restaurants, coffee shops, and bars nearby (and Melissa provided a guidebook to help find the best spots). Melissa was incredibly accommodating and even arranged an infant cot for us. Would absolutely stay again!

Had a lovely few days at this AirBNB! The town is sleepy when the day trippers are away and the locals are friendly. The rental was clean, spacious, and exactly the break we needed. One thing to note is there are quite a few stairs to the main floor and second floor. We had someone with us that had some issues due to a hurt leg. Other than that, 10/10 stay and would highly recommend to anyone! View is outstanding to sip a cup a tea and people watch. Also within a few steps to the Falkland Palace and the Falkland Estate which allowed us a day off from driving.

Mein Mann und ich haben es bei Mary total genossen. Marys Mann hat uns willkommen geheißen, als wir ankamen und war sehr freundlich und lustig. Wenn man den Weg zum Haus hochfährt, ist das total malerisch und schön. Ihr habt ein sehr tolles Zuhause und das „kleine“ Cottage direkt daneben ist ein Traum für Gäste! Wenn wir wieder in der Gegend sind, kommen wir mehr als gerne wieder :) Es ist alles sauber und das Bett sehr gemütlich! Es war alles da, was man brauchte :)

We stayed for a week for my partners birthday and had the most incredible time. The views were stunning and you could just sit all day and watch the wildlife on the lake! Beds were comfy and had all the amenities you needed. We didn’t want to leave!

This place was a beautiful spacious retreat at the end of each busy day of exploring Edinburgh and its surrounds. We were 2 couples on a 4 week tour around Scotland.. Whilst a little way out from the city the Pay and Ride option just a few kilometers away made it easy to get to the city Centre. The pay off was a tranquil and idyllic country/farm setting. The place was spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished and well equipped. We would thoroughly recommend to anyone planning to visit Edinburgh.. Thank you Christine ..

Eine sehr geräumige und gut ausgestattete Unterkunft. Alles war sehr sauber und der Garten ist wirklich groß. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen die Unterkunft absolut weiter. Wir waren mit 6 Personen und einem Hund dort. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern lief unkompliziert und super freundlich. Vielen Dank für diesen tollen Aufenthalt!

Marks place was beautiful! The pictures dont do it justice! Everything was spotlessly clean. Mark was a great host and communicated everything we needed prior and during our stay. The welcome pack was perfect, full of useful information and recommendations. And the welcome basket was gorgeous and such a lovely touch! Thanks Mark for a great stay! We will definately be back!
