“The Outhouse ( Love the name) Nick and Kirsty have a beautiful small cottage there on their property, it’s very well kept and very clean. Both Nick and Kirsty were very gracious hosts, and were Johnny on the spot for any thing we might have needed. Located just down the road from a Linlithgow we were able to stop in and grocery shop and have a pint or two at a local pub. The location was also good for us in that we went site seeing in Edinburgh and Glasgow which was only a short drive either direction. When you stay with them make sure to visit the Helix and the Falkirk Wheel again both are local. Thanks again Nick and Kirsty for a great day We’re hoping to come by again one day. God Bless David & Susan Dodson Texas”

“Stylish studio cottage ..set in a lovely park very close to tourists attractions eg Falkirk wheel and the kelpies well worth a visit. This is our second visit this year the first being in February before lockdown .so we where ready for a few days break and this peaceful little place ticked all the boxes for us .Pauline was an excellent host and was very quick to reply to any questions that we had .I can't recommend this studio cottage highly enough. It is immaculate with a comfortable bed and nice shower with good water pressure. A modern kitchen with fridge ,freezer and washing machine. Gas cooker with extractor. Great cupboard space and tv mounted on the wall with box for extra channels. . We will be back for a third visit I'm sure .”
I've lived in the beautiful town of Linlithgow for 28 years. It's on the 'Outlander Trail' and is close to Edinburgh, Falkirk, Glasgow and Stirling. My house is a 5 minute walk to the train station and the High Street where you'll find Linlithgow Palace, the Loch, shops, restaurants, cafes, and tourist information. The John Muir Way is a mile away, the M9 motorway is close by and the airport is just a 20 minute drive. The house is uphill, bright and has lovely views of the town and countryside.
“Kate’s place is a nice home not to far from Edinburgh and just up the road from Linlithgow palace (where Mary Queen of Scott’s was born). Even though my stay was brief I really enjoyed it, and would definitely recommend to anyone to stop in and stay if you were looking for a quiet place and good company. Kate is such a sweet lady!”
