Holiday rentals with beach access in Ballard, Seattle

My son and I stayed here for a few days and absolutely loved it. The location was perfect and very peaceful. We took the water taxi daily, which was so convenient. Each evening we sat at the park in front of the house and looked at the gorgeous city view. Ben was very responsive and gave us a great suggestion for dinner at Harry's. The house had everything we needed and was very clean and cozy. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Steps from SoCal feeling beach area Alki, yet quiet home tucked away from the beach crowds. Home is a great sampling of west Seattle which is slower and quieter than busy downtown Seattle. Awesome June sunsets each night. Short scooter ride to water taxi to visit downtown Seattle or Vashon island. Walkable beach restaurants and arcades. Short drive to downtown with more shops. Short drive to lovely Lincoln Park and troll hunting. Clean home, friendly hosts. Overall highly recommend!

Very beautiful neighborhood location. A short walk down to Washington Lake walking path. Bus or light rain nearby for easy transportation to Seattle sites. This rental is very clean and comfortable. This is our second stay and we will be back. Thank you Lisa for a pleasant getaway.

We had such a fabulous time at Lene’s beautiful home ! Set in the perfect location next to Lake Washington in gorgeous Madison Park, which has wonderful cafes and restaurants. Very spacious and cozy with such a lovely comfy bed and ultra pristine linen. The great kitchen has everything you need and the shower was wonderful. It was extremely quick and easy to get into downtown on the number 11 bus. Lene is such a great super host nothing was too much trouble for her and she even let us use her laundry room which was so kind of her. We would not hesitate to recommend. Our family came to visit us in north Kitsap and we appreciated the clean and quiet accommodations between Kingston and Port Gamble. They enjoyed the nearby day trips to Point No Point lighthouse and beach, Port Gamble’s quaint downtown and White Horse Golf Course. The beach access was a plus, but the kayaks available were a little far from the beach - a series of steps, etc. so we passed on that. We were able to use the firewood that the host provided at the beach, so we were very happy with the experience we had. All-in-all, a lovely spot to stay!

Truly enjoyed this location as a place to reset. It's a dream view when you wake up and get up in the morning. Hope to come back here soon.

Location, location, location… This place is perfect for what I'm looking for when staying in West Seattle. Close to the beaches, close to fabulous restaurants, close to everything you need. Jay is an extremely friendly host and willing to help. Place has everything you need inside..only exception would be creamer for my coffee. What a beautiful, beautiful neighborhood, what a fun place...we had a really great time staying here.

Fantastic home! Made so many great memories with my family, combing the beach and exploring Washington. A perfect base camp for recharging after a long day of adventures! This home is great for young children. We would definitely stay here again!

What a beautiful location to stay with family! The Sound and Mt Rainier views were stunning. A rocky beach was just a short walk down the road from the house with an amazing array of driftwood. We were able to explore part of the Olympic National Forest, a botanical garden, and light house visit. Plenty of indoor/outdoor seating. My adult children enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. The contemporary style home had beautiful wood/stone/tile/brick features. We spotted seals from the lookout deck near the edge of the bluff as well as bald eagles and some herons. A very restful experience giving us time to reconnect as a family. We appreciate Justin and Lauren letting us stay at their home/sanctuary.

We loved the space. Great views. Windows for days. We even measured some spaces in the house to incorporate into our home build. It’s not a large home but it feels so spacious with all the natural light. Truly feels like home. It’s not a cheap rental but the value is all there. We would love to return sometime! Zero complaints and I’d highly recommend the stay for anyone looking to visit the area.

I echo much of the same positives mentioned by past guests. Probably one of the cleanest airbnbs I’ve stayed at, if not the cleanest, and you can tell the host cares a ton about comfort when it’s never hard to find a tissue. Every space had tissue boxes, which I think is an amazing touch I’ve never seen elsewhere. Would stay again 100%. Thank you Carter for a fantastic stay!

Great host, beautiful home close to everything. Swam at the lake and walked to the park. Only took 12min to get to downtown convention center. The house was so beautiful. The shower was lovely and large tubs! Adorable backyard retreat.

Nice location on Bainbridge Island for the weekend. Our family of 4 including 2 toddlers enjoyed the private backyard space, lawn toys and neighborhood farm animals. Beds were too soft for our liking but was fine for a 2 night stay. Pretty expensive for what it is, but I think it's on par with the Bainbridge market. thanks for the stay!

What a lovely place! We stayed here for a couple of days before our relocation to Europe. It was perfect for us in every way: comfy bed, a small kitchen with glassware and dishes, a good size shower. A baby grand piano was a welcome surprise. One minor thing some people might want to keep in mind: the unit is on the second floor, accessible by a long flight of stairs. It was a little tricky, but that was due to our particular circumstances: since we were in the middle of a major international move, we had a ridiculous number of large and unruly suitcases. If you’re traveling light, this should not be an issue. Overall, a wonderful experience and a gracious and kind host.

Great stay, peaceful surroundings and walkable to coffee shops and nature preserve. Home was cute and clean. Would recommend staying here anytime.

Great place, great location, within walking distance to many points of interests, public transit right outside the door, essentials are provided so you don't have to pack extras, spectacular top floor view of the waterfront, quiet building, very clean, warm and comfortable "at-home away from home" experience, and the host is very communicative and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed a few days here and it was fantastic, lovely lively neighborhood set just far enough away from all the hustle and bustle of downtown while being a quick walk right into the thick of it. Had minor difficulties finding the correct check-in spot but was no problem. 10/10 will book here again

Clean, comfortable, everything you need (including parking)! The view was wonderful. It's nice to see the water and watch the action outside. Easy to walk to Pike Place. Hosts were very responsive and friendly. Thanks for a great stay!

Loved staying at Jeri's place, she is an amazing host, always available, so friendly and funny! Her place is unique and very comfortable -there is a great spa tub i didn't remember being mentioned -could have spent my whole vacay in that tub ! I actually stayed at 2 Airbnb's while in Seattle (the other was not good), would definitely book Jeri's again !

Susannah’s place was perfect for our weekend in Seattle. It was extremely walkable, safe, and hosts were friendly and helpful. The sauna and parking were great amenities included at the condo. There were great restaurants within walking distance, and attractions were easy to get to. The bed was very comfy, and we felt at home.

The smart home features were a great touch and made everything extra convenient. After long days of exploring Seattle, it was the perfect place to relax and recharge. We loved the modern, brand new decor! The bedding was very luxurious and comfortable… when you have a rental that is right on the train tracks, you have to try to offset the noise, and the hosts did a great job, offering ear plugs and high tech noise reduction/ white noise machines in each bedroom, which worked great ( I chose the babbling brook setting and slept like a baby). I think the train going by only added to the charm! I wish we could have stayed more than one day, will be back for sure!

Everything you need in a well-equipped 1BR, including prime Pike Place location and full amenities in the building, not to mention the fantastic view. The 180° view of the busy harbor is stunning, and there is a Target (with full-service grocery) just downstairs. The large LG TV offers loads of entertainment apps for all ages, and the capacious washer and dryer are a real plus for road warriors. The building has exceptional amenities – gym, pool, community room with deck & BBQ facilities, and a small but full-service business room (computer, copier, scanner, shredder, fax). Listing description and photos are accurate. In sum, this is a far better value than nearby luxury hotels. You will not be disappointed here.
