Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Baixada Fluminense

We had a wonderful stay! The house is exactly as in the photos: clean, well-equipped, with a wonderful outdoor space and very welcoming. The location is great both for those who want moments of peace and quiet by the forest, and for those who enjoy the attractions of the city. In addition to the house, we had a pleasant surprise with the hostess who was super attentive, welcomed us very well and made us feel very comfortable. We would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-kept place to stay!

A mix of retro and comfort is what comes to mind when I remember Bruna's house. It has a beautiful garden and amenities exactly as described in the listing. We were able to buy everything we needed at the bakery and the market, both a short walk away. The caretaker welcomed us very well and his puppy Spike, very affectionate and polite, won over the family. All utensils, bedding and bath linen were available and were super satisfactory. The rooms in the house are very spacious and comfortable. I hope to be able to return soon for a longer stay.

The stay was excellent! The decoration is of very good taste and the environments are super cozy, I felt at home. Fred is a great host, always available and very attentive. The house was very clean, the kitchen super complete and the garden well taken care of. The view is beautiful. I highly recommend!

Marcelo's place is perfect! We were in a group of 10 people and they were all very well accommodated and comfortable. The description and photos correspond exactly as the house is, but, seeing the house in person, exceeded my expectations. The house is very well taken care of and has all the items for you to prepare your meal, including a barbecue by the perfect swimming pool. The location is also perfect as it is very close to the center of Miguel Pereira. Even so, the house has a lot of privacy and tranquility. Marcelo's place provided a landmark experience for our family.

Amazing place in Vidigal! The view and the terrace is unbeatable. Saulo and the other hosts were very helpful. The place is ideal for 4 people, but could fit more if needed. We felt very safe and it is easy to reach once you understand how the transport works. Can definitely recommend!

The bed is huge, very good, great structure. Tvs, large beds, group eating table and great for games, various accents for the environments, appliances and cutlery in abundance. The house is well in the woods, has a few steps to move around the land. The squirrels and peaks, good for photos (none of them approached the house). There is a lot of insect, for those who are afraid is worth the attention, but my wife survived them. The location of the house is obviously a little more isolated, but paradoxically, it is very close to the sights. It is possible to walk to the center, as it rained, we opted for a car and everything was very close.

I had the most incredible experience staying at this apartment in Ipanema. From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the panoramic ocean views — it truly felt like waking up in a postcard every day. The apartment was spotless, tastefully decorated, and had everything I needed, from a fully equipped kitchen to fast Wi-Fi and comfy bedding. The location couldn't be better. Just steps from the sand and close to amazing restaurants, bars, and shops. I always felt safe walking around, even at night. Watching the sunset from the balcony was a highlight of every evening — absolutely magical. The host was warm, responsive, and gave great local recommendations. Check-in was smooth, and they made sure I felt at home from day one. If you're thinking about staying in Rio, don’t hesitate — this place is a gem. I can’t wait to come back!

The stay was great, the Mauro always very helpful, fulfilled our requests. It was a little hard to find the ap but after you think it's quiet. Close to the beach, bars, markets, bakery…. Everything to do walking. Loved staying there and would no doubt come back more often

Andrea's space is simple but extremely comfortable and makes you feel at home. Andrea is VERY helpful, always willing to help and clarify doubts. He was cordial, transparent and flexible with us both at check-in and check-out. Even before we arrived at the space, we already felt safe just because of the confidence that Andrea gave us before we arrived.

What a beautiful, cozy, delicious loft to get out of the city for a weekend! Jeferson and his mother were super attentive and helpful to us, I couldn't complain about anything! Thank you for having us and for leaving everything so tidy and fragrant, we want to come back more often for sure!🫶

The days I spent with my husband and daughter in Tiago's apartment were wonderful. It's all as Tiago says in the description. Very functional. The shower is warm, and on those cold days it was great. the towels and bed linen were very clean. clean. I didn't use the stove, so I won't be able to comment on this issue.

Fábio was very polite and attended to us very well. The apartment is great, it's in a neighborhood close to everything, and close to the beach too The apartment is clean and organized, the beds are very comfortable, I feel at home! Very spacious too! I highly recommend it, it's worth it!!

Overall, the property was incredible. Large sprawling old growth garden compound on a flowing river with natural pools, common hang house, guest house with 2 floors and other unique structures. Daylight was our favorite time and revealed the mountains in the distance and just how special the space was. We enjoyed the open air vibes, yoga on the deck, hammock lounging, fireplace, walking the property, and cooking breakfast with the full kitchen. The bed linens and towels were all spotless. We slept so well due to the river lullaby. Everything locked so we felt secure at night and the place was well lit. All I’d say is the grounds need a little love, and it would have been nice to have coordinates to the property prior vs a word doc of directions that don’t quite match the actual street signs anymore. If you like adventure, the road getting to the property is awesome :) About 10 min drive to entrance of Parque Nacional da Serra dos Órgãos in Teresopolis.

I thank Veronica for her exceptional welcome and generosity! Everything was perfect! More than we expected from an Airbnb Host! In addition, from this beautiful house in the heart of the jungle, and 15 minutes from the most beautiful wild beaches of Rio(Prainha and Grumari) she took care of us and helped us organize our stay. She introduced us to a great guide, Edouardo, who showed us around Rio and gave us surf lessons, fishing games, and a horseback ride. She gave us her best addresses and checked in with us throughout the stay. We stayed 11 days in the house with our 2 children. For recommendations, it is essential to rent a 4✖️4 to access the house, and also provide mosquito repellent... we are in the heart of a tropical garden...

We had a wonderful experience during the three days we were staying at Liane's home. From the first moment, we were greeted with great sympathy and attention. The host was extremely welcoming and helpful, taking care of every detail to ensure our comfort. The house is large, comfortable, very well organized and equipped with everything we needed: clean and inviting pool, barbecue, fireplace, television, air conditioning, clean towels and an impeccable space. The atmosphere is perfect for resting and enjoying with family or friends. On-site parking was also a big difference. The location is excellent, right next to Lake Javari, which makes the stay even more special for those who appreciate nature and tranquility. I would especially like to thank Liane for having indicated to Denise that. The village helped US during the stay with lunch cleanliness and day-to-day. I strongly recommend hosting! A place we will definitely return.

I’ve stayed at Rodrigo’s place twice now and he has always been a great host. Definitely planning on staying again in the future.

Jean & Jefferson were the most wonderful hosts, and made us feel right at home eve though our stay was only 1 night. Their dog and cat are both adorable and very friendly, and their space was beautifully decorated. We really appreciated how flexible they were, especially by letting us store our stuff and their place on check-out day since we had an evening flight. Thank you both so much for your hospitality <3
