We rent out our ‘CHEZ AMIS’ as a guest and holiday home to nice people who also like to have a nice place to stay. Stay, enjoy and feel at home for up to 6 people (from May 2026: 8 people) across 4 floors – with everything you need for a temporary home. And what makes the soul dangle. It is quiet with us, although you live in the middle of the old town. In 5 minutes you will be in the city center & in the spa area. And in 1 minute in the middle of the countryside: in the castle park and in the in-house garden.

BALTHASAR RESS Guesthouse am Rebhang im Rheingau

The "Balthasar Ress Guesthouse" is the guest house of the renowned Balthasar Ress winery in the Rheingau. Primarily designed for the winery's own guests, it is also sometimes available to other guests. The architect's house is located in the "Rebhang" settlement, one of the most exclusive and beautiful residential areas in the Rheingau wine-growing region. The settlement is located at an altitude of around 400 m, around 300 m above the Rhine and is surrounded by meadows, vineyards and the forest.

Treat yourself to a visit to our half-timbered house Anno 1690, renovated in 2019, in the very quiet old town of Stromberg, right by the Schlossbrunnen fountain below the 3 castles. The kitchen on the 2nd floor is excitingly located in the former battlement of the city wall. The medieval building still has the typical steep oak stairs and the ceiling height is outside the norm. Cozy stay in the house and as a starting point for hikers & bikers....for relaxation and adventure...

The apartment is also ideally located for attending a concert at the Loreley open-air theatre.

Take a vacation in the luxurious ambiance of our guest house. It is part of our vineyard and integrated into our farm building. Closest neighbour is about 100 m away. The 4-hectare farmhouse is idyllically located among the vineyards and is accessible at ground level on two sides. You can start hiking or cycling directly from the farm. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, including a wine refrigerator. Beer pong party people please don't book!

With sauna, large garden, two kitchens, three bathrooms (incl. 2 bathtubs), vaulted cellar, courtyard with barbecue & swings as well as lounge areas inside & outside, it is perfect for families, friends, yoga groups or pleasure travelers. Location: quiet location in Rhine Hesse. Optional: breakfast service, refrigerator filling & restaurant reservation.

Public transportation is a 2-minute walk away For wine lovers, several wineries/wine taverns are within walking distance within minutes. Hiking and cycling tours are a wonderful way to start from here, as the extensive "vineyards" begin only 150 meters from the house.

A vacation in beautiful nature in the heart of the Rheingau near the Schloß Vollrads and Schloss Johannisberg wineries in Stephanshausen. Please feel at home in my detached house with garden! Priceless but nevertheless included: fantastic views over a horse paddock and beyond the Rhine. From here you can start wonderful hikes. In a short time, you're at Johannisberg Castle, Rüdesheim with Drosselgasse, abbey and romantic castles.

Rosen-Holz vacation apartment: peace and relaxation

As an interior designer, I designed this 96-square-meter apartment as a place full of character and personality. Away from short-lived trends and mass-produced goods, our accommodation stands for longevity, individuality and thoughtful upcycling. To show that a new design doesn't necessarily have to be expensive. Use your stay for a creative break, unwind while hiking in nature, and take a bit of inspiration home with you.

This unique place has a style all its own: ecological materials such as clay and wood give the house a unique flair and an unsurpassed indoor climate. The half-timbered house, built in 1622, is modernly furnished. A wood and pellet stove creates a special evening feel-good atmosphere.
