Good starting point for activities. On the upper floor it is cozy rustic with wood. The first floor, on the other hand, has a normal house character with tiles etc.

The garden is fantastic. You are in the middle of Wernigerode, but up there on the hill you are completely in your own world. You can of course hear that you are in town, but that did not bother us.

We stayed with Anke and Andreas in Benneckenstein over the Easter holidays. The cottage has been beautiful and perfect for our larger family. was also great that we were able to bring our dog. Everything we needed was there. We also found it positive that the kitchen was superbly furnished to take care of all people (often not the case in cottages.) The rooms were lovingly and comfortably furnished. We will be happy to come back!

We were there with the extended family, including dog and children from 1 to 11 years. The house is just beautiful, just the right mix between old and new. We felt right at home. For the children, of course, the garden was perfect and for all ages. There were also a lot of toys in the house in case it rained or in between. The bedrooms were not as clairaudient as expected, so the others didn't notice anything from crying babies at night. Christine was always super easy to reach and helped us very nicely with everything. All in all, we really liked it. We will also definitely book again if it is possible.

We really liked the original, cozy cottage. No wishes unfulfilled in the furnishings, a wonderful dining area and cozy sleeping arrangements. Sheets and towels included - that would have been perfect. But we also felt very comfortable and can only recommend the accommodation.

We enjoyed the time around Christmas at the place very much. The friendly welcome was great and the house was beautifully large and lovingly furnished. We felt comfortable there.

My husband , me and our 2 little dogs had a great stay at the place. On foot or by car, the accommodation is centrally located. The key handover was hassle-free and the apartment has everything you need. The apartment was very clean, which was really important to us and it was lovingly furnished. We felt right at home. An all-round successful booking! Although pets are allowed, there was no hair or the like in the house. The cleaner can feel tapped on the shoulder: Everything was very clean and well maintained. The fireplace worked great and the kitchen was above average well stocked. There was plenty of room to live in, and we also found many games that sweetened our children's evening hours. Finally, we found it very pleasant and relieving in every way that each of the 3 floors had its own toilet. We really enjoyed the time in Lonau! Small special feature on the edge: In the village, there is a mini golf course, which can be played free of charge. The highlight is that everyone can borrow a racket, balls and a game plan from a large storage box for free!

Had a great hiking holiday staying at the place. Highly recommended! Location is great for going on day hikes around Harz and the area is very peaceful and full of nature.

It was an incredibly nice and sparkling clean, cozily furnished cottage. A hidden gem Everything was available. The hostess was particularly friendly and helpful. The area is beautifully beautiful. Suitable for various outdoor sports and hiking tours. Highly recommended! We will definitely go back again.

We were only in the apartment for one night, so I can't say anything about the area. The place was very clean, the pool was a highlight especially for the kids. The garden is very nice, but invites you to relax rather than let off steam except for the pool. Overall a very nice place and Petra was friendly and responded very quickly to inquiries.

We were there for a few days to relax, which also worked out well as it was very quiet there. The apartment is as described and also very clean. From the balcony you could hear the owls in the evening. There is plenty to explore in the surrounding area. Our children loved being in the in-house swimming pool. The restaurant in the house was OK, but here it means a lot of time. Despite the parking garage renovation, there is already one or the other parking space outside. We thought it was nice there and the children were as well.

We had a lovely up in the nicest little apartment. Nicely furnished, new renovated kitchen and bathroom. cozy balcony with morning sun. with short walking distance to town and the surrounding hiking trails the apartment has a perfect location. A suggestion for kitchen range could be an oven or airfryer, otherwise nothing to note. We thank Carsten for a super lovely stay, we will definitely be back kind regards, Gitte and Kim

Nice place and Till was very friendly, helpful, and communicative. Clean and kitchen is stocked with everything 1-2 people need in terms of cookware, cutlery, etc. Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing location within short driving distance of many good hiking paths in the Harz. I felt very comfortable with Renate. She is a lovely, helpful and open-minded person. The accommodation is ideal for people who travel during the day to explore the area, for example, and then like to come back to a family environment where they are warmly welcomed. The bed was very comfortable, the linens freshly washed and absolutely clean, as was the bathroom and the rest of the place! Always happy, dear Renate!

We spent a few nice days there over Easter. The property was clean and had everything needed. The location was really mega, we haven't had it that quiet for a long time! Degree with our dogs, the lots of greenery around was really fantastic. Even great excursion destinations were reachable in about 30 minutes from the property. The communication with our host was really hassle-free, we could ask at any time and got nice and helpful tips for the area. We felt very comfortable. Thank you so much for letting us stay with you.

A beautiful clean and quiet vacation rental! Antje was very nice, accommodating and friendly,I felt very comfortable, welcome and at home right away. The apartment is sufficiently large,well divided and lovingly decorated in detail and equipped with everything you need. The large balcony with amazing views of nature is a great extra of this apartment. The accommodation is quietly located on the edge of the forest and directly on many hiking trails in nature! My stay was wonderful and I will be very happy to come back! Thanks! :-)

What an incredible stay! Tobias and Susan were wonderful hosts. Very responsive and extremely helpful if we had questions. There were 4 of us who stayed at the apartment. The space was perfect for us. It felt like home, we had enough room and privacy. We even hosted a dinner for our family who lived in town. All the kitchenware and appliances worked great. Even Tobias came by and sat with us during dinner and shared some treats with us. They also provided us wood for an outdoor fire. It was a very peaceful and quiet farm. We ended up extending our stay from 7 days to 11 days and luckily the apartment was still available. With our extended stay they brought us fresh towels for the remaining week we were there. I can't say enough good things about our hosts or the location. It will be added to my favorites! We really enjoyed our stay, Tobias and Susan.
