You will spend your vacation in our apartment renovated in 2021 on the 7th floor (elevator available) of a former hotel. Through the panoramic window you have a magnificent view of the mountains and the climatic health resort of Bad Grund. The apartment has a built-in kitchen, a dining area, a modern bathroom with large shower, as well as a cozy solid wood double bed with cotton bed linens. On the balcony you sit between herbs (to harvest yourself) & flowers on teak furniture.

The cave experience center and the world forest are about 2 km away.

Relax in our cozy half-timbered house in Bad Grund. The terraced house is located at an altitude of about 400 m on the southern slope of the Iberg in a listed half-timbered settlement in a cul-de-sac. We can accommodate up to 6 people. In the immediate vicinity there are hiking trails, the Iberg Dripstone Cave, the Weltwald, the Hübichenstein, two cafes, museums and much more. Bad Grund, with its half-timbered houses typical of the Harz Mountains, is located in a valley surrounded by the slopes of the Harz Nature Park. The numerous hiking trails through the mixed forest, past breathtaking viewpoints, are not only an experience for the trained hiker. Quaint forest inns invite you to rest, where you can be served regional delicacies.

Here you are in the right place if you want to explore the Harz Mountains with a dog, like to end the evenings at the fire pit, maybe even want to have a small party? Our comfortable, newly designed apartment (70 m²) is located in the beautiful Vor-Harz in a rural area. The tranquil town of Badenhausen (about 1600 inhabitants) is a good starting point for an active vacation or simply to unwind. Hikes or bike rides in the Harz Mountains can be started directly. E-bikes can be safely parked and charged. In the village there are small shops for everyday needs and some restaurants.
