Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Ascona

There were three of us on vacation with a dog in this beautiful apartment and we couldn't have met it better. The apartment has a magnificent view and is in the sunshine from morning to evening. A cozy place with soul. Simply fantastically beautiful. Elisabetta & Mattia were great hosts, with great tips on the surroundings. We recovered superbly and had feelings of spring over New Year's Eve thanks to the great location & pure sun. Clear recommendation!

We've been there for an Easter holiday with our parents, and it was amazing. Paul & Silvia are wonderful, communicative and friendly hosts, their place was great and we have had unforgettable time - beautiful places around Locarno in the first part of the day, and chilling out with picturesque views in the afternoons. Because of multitude of things to see in the area, I recommend visiting by car if only to have freedom of where to go. Also, the town of Agarone has nice walkable paths that we've discovered only too late (these do not show up on Google Maps). All in all, we were very happy with our holiday and would strongly recommend Paul & Silvia as hosts.

Quiet and relaxing stay. Communication was easy and efficient. Accessible by train, 10-15 minutes walk from the station. Thank you for everything:)

Fun, fabulous and friendly. We loved our stay at Mauro’s place. It is in a great location for exploring Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta. We were very comfortable, had everything we needed and were even able to park our Motorhome. Mauro’s artwork was an added bonus. Highly recommended.

Our stay at the little house was great! The views from the balcony were unbelievable, area was quiet, peaceful and private. Kathi the host was a great help, giving recommendations for places and things to do. The entire place was clean, cosy and homely! Only little negative was that we heard noise from the rooms above later on in the evening when we were trying to sleep. However this can’t be helped.

Beautiful place. We really wanted a peaceful spot with beautiful views and got exactly that. The house is up in the mountains above Lenno with access to good restaurants but it was a challenging walk from town. Recommend getting a car and taxis are not consistent. We would go back to the area and back to the same house.

We just returned from a stay - the pictures do not do justice to the beauty of the home and the location. Jennifer and Nico are outstanding hosts and have been extremely helpful in recommendations for restaurants, activities and future stays.

Warm welcome by Fabrizio. Good explanation of what to do and where the dog is welcome. Very clean accommodation and everything was correct according to the listing. 2 small fenced gardens where the dog can walk around safely. Close to the dike where there are many cafes and restaurants. Small supermarket nearby, Large supermarkets 5 min by car. Host responds quickly to messages. We have had a pleasant time there.

We stayed a couple of days and two friends, the very nice and helpful host helped us with clear directions and made us feel like we were at home. In general, it's a little bit in the middle of nowhere but a 10-minute drive from various lakes and attractive areas.

We felt very comfortable at the place and would be happy to come back. The apartment was very clean and it has everything you need. We and our dogs enjoyed the small garden very much. Very quiet and optimal location for activities. The parking is right in front of the house. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. Thank you very much for the lovely stay and see you soon!

We had a fantastic stay. The apartment was comfortable and incredibly clean. Sveva is a great host and very responsive to any questions. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time in Como and especially at Guglielmo's outstanding place. The apartment is spacious, very clean, has two large bathrooms and especially the large kitchen incl. Amenities are phenomenal. Since we only flew back in the evening, Guglielmo immediately allowed us to stay completely flexible until 6 p.m. on the last day, so we had almost an extra day without checkout stress, which is not self-evident. Thanks for that and for the great time. We'll be back.

The apartment is in a great location, totally in the center. The parking is super organized. Alex was always very quick to respond to the messages. The apartment was in perfect condition, perfect. Highly recommended.

We spent 4 days in a beautiful villa in the heart of Lugano. Close to everything you need to see, eat and enjoy in Lugano. We definitely recommend it to those who prefers a classic style vs modern glass and beton. Special thanks to Nicoletta- great host!

Michela's place was really lovely, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. She even had dog bowls, a doggy blanket and dog bags for Pandy. It is a quick walk to the main street, the lakefront and lovely restaurants. It was a perfect place to stay. We also greatly appreciated all the yummy treats.

Lovely 3 nights at Annamaria’s place. Beautiful view which we enjoyed every morning and evening after a day of exploring. 30min drive from lake como and 1 hour from Milan - very easy.

This apartment was spacious and perfect for our family of 6. It was in a great location - 5 minutes from the Lake Como Greenway, 15 mins to Lenno ferry port. It is also close to the bus stop and nearby supermarket. We loved it as a base to explore the middle lake. Riccardo and Valeria were such friendly hosts and their son Davide was always available to answer questions and make local recommendations. We had a great stay in Ossuccio.

Old building but renovated apartment. Not very big but for two people it's perfect. Everything is well cared for, fragrant blankets, impeccable cleanliness. Shampoo, body soap, etc. were also provided in the shower (apart from the train nearby but at night we did not hear it). We had a very, very good time and if we ever come back to those parts, we will definitely come back to book. Ivana was super cute. Everything was super 🙂💪🏻

Andrea’s apartment was clean, spacious, and matched the description. The kitchen was well-equipped and Andrea provided many recommendations of places to see, restaurants, and local amenities. The apartment is a little further away from the downtown areas and ferry terminals than we expected, but it meant a lovely walk along the water everyday. This beautiful location and the lovely little cafe across the street are highly recommended.

We spent a week family vacation with 2 toddlers in Caslano. Thanks to the well-equipped apartment including many toys, we felt right at home. Pamela gave us great tips for restaurants and excursions!!

This place was very spacious and could comfortably fit at least 5. It’s in the perfect location to access both San Giovanni train station and Borghi train station. The place itself is located next to a yummy pizza place and other great restaurants. Access to the Como ferry is also only about a 15 minute walk.

Beautiful views over Lugano, clean and comfortable apartment. A private parking place is a big place. Make sure to fold your side windows when leaving the car parked, otherwise the “friendly” neighbors wlll do it for you. 😏
