Mrs. Maria and her husband welcomed us with great affection and with some cheeses, biscuits and very good quality wine. The house corresponded exactly to the description in the photos, and its location provides the desired peace and quiet. We'll be back, for sure.

The area is quite quiet, and the house is great for families looking for a getaway outside the confusion of the city. Fully equipped kitchen and toilets. The road to the property is a bit tight, but it compensates for the comfort, tranquility and feeling of home away from home. In hot days there is a small tank for a quick dip. Mr. Manuel received us very kindly and was always available if we had any questions and need for communication. If you have a large family or group of friends in search of tranquility in Arcos de Valdevez, consider this property.

We stayed here for a week and felt very comfortable. Diana and her husband were very friendly and not intrusive. Restaurants and supermarket within walking distance. For tours in the national park, driving short distances by car was perfect. Thank you for the cake and wine👍

The space visited is truly welcoming, offering what is strictly necessary for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The simplicity of the place and the houses does not compromise the quality of the experience, providing an environment where you feel at home. One of the most notable points is the complete isolation of the site. This feature guarantees an atmosphere of tranquility, ideal for those looking for a refuge away from the noise and hustle and bustle of urban life. Peace and silence are predominant, excellent for walking tours, reading, photographs, etc. In addition, we had the opportunity to interact with the very friendly and kind locals allowing us to participate with the children in their tasks with the animals. In short, this space is an excellent choice for those looking for a simple but welcoming environment. We were two families and we used both houses, an ideal situation because the common spaces are to share. Thanks ! Silvia.

The property was well equipped and nicely set out, plenty of space. Two double bedrooms, beds very comfortable. Bathroom was compact, lovely shower with plenty of hot water and fittings were top notch. Kitchen area had everything you needed. Beautiful views outside the rear of the property. We would definitely recommend Joana’s house.

Amazing stay in Gerês! The house was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need and super comfortable. We loved the hot tub, BBQ, fireplace, and the breathtaking views. Everything was clean, cozy, and peaceful. The host was friendly and responsive.

A beautiful place with beautiful views, the house is quite acceptable in size and has a barbecue that works great I recommend it if you are looking for a rural stay outside the stress of the city and disconnect.

Gracinda’s place is very comfortable and we can recommend to stay there when visiting Arcos. Her place is very comfortable and nicely appointed and best of all, it is right in the center of the old town of Arcos, with everything in easy walking distance. A friend of her, who is super nice, runs the neighborhood grocery market, which is just steps away, where you get local wines and provisions.

We stayed 4 nights in the apartment and it more than covers all expectations. Very quiet place (with restaurants on the same street) and close to Peneda-Gerês National Park Carlos and Alía are always very attentive to answer any questions

we had a great stay. the apartment was clean, comfortable and well equiped. we had some trouble with the air conditioning and Alexander was very responsive and sent someone to fix it. when he found out it would take more time to fix, he sent us 2 heaters so that we would not be cold. we recommend staying here.

We had a great stay, the accommodation offered was totally in line with what we had seen in the photos, very clean with good quality furniture, very quiet. The house is beautiful, very well maintained and the garden superb (congratulations to the owners for the maintenance!). André and his wife are very pleasant and full of attention (for example we received mint and lemons from their garden). Although the house is inhabited by the owners, the private garden of the accommodation and its separate entrance give a real feeling of privacy. Access to the pool is very nice when it's hot. Although the accommodation is a little far from the shops (only a bakery and pharmacy nearby), this is largely offset by a very quiet and relaxing environment for a holiday! We'll definitely be back on an upcoming trip to the area. Thank you André for your hospitality and see you soon!

We enjoyed our stay at Maria’s place. It comes with a garden and BBQ area to share and a pool to dip in. The location was great to get around the national park in both directions. We would definitely stay here again.

The apartment had everything we needed and more! We could want for nothing! Beautiful town and quiet neighborhood. Would highly recommend if you are headed to northern Portugal.
