Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Arcos de Valdevez

We had a wonderful time at Giselda's. The house is not lacking in detail, it has all the amenities and is exquisitely clean. Giselda was really nice to us. Definitely a place to go back to and recommend.

We liked it a lot! The house is right next to the Cruzeiro. It is not easy to arrive by car, but it is possible. The view is superb! The house is well equipped and we found the same clean and tidy house. Good conditions to enjoy the zone, with comfort and privacy. Thank you!

Maria and her husband were incredibly kind to me and my family / friends. We came from all over with young children and everyone had the most amazing time, food, hospitality, wine, good vibes all round. Maria kindly let us stay an extra night, and graciously bought us lots of wine and extras. I had a long lovely chat with Maria and we spoke about the world and life. Bonjour We stayed in August 2024. We were more than welcomed! Rosalina brought us small dishes throughout the stay, offered to clean and linens during the stay, always available, always smiling. The place is quiet, a car is mandatory but that's exactly what we were looking for. The house is well equipped and despite the absence of air conditioning in the middle of August (it was sometimes 40 degrees) we did not suffer at all from the heat. The view is beautiful. The road passes in front of the house, but there aren't many vehicles passing through it. We slept well. 2 important points: Rosalina only speaks Portuguese, so you have to Google trad And the house is shared in 2 (ground floor and 1st floor) so tranquility can depend on your neighbors (no worries for us on this side) In short, our vacation went very well in part thanks to Rosalina, whom we sincerely thank.

I've stayed in many places around the world, but Conceição has been the best host to date, very friendly and helpful. The house is very well taken care of, and we feel totally welcome.

Flawless accommodation, in the middle of nature, calm. The very friendly and helpful hostess who advised us to visit the Enchanted Forest of Mezio, which we loved.

We spent one week in the beautiful old mill with 2 families. The house is beautiful and the river and surrounding nature was excellent for the kids (15, 13, 10, 9, 8) to fish, play in the water, build a hut, read in the hammock and more. There is much to see and do in and from Arcos de Valdevez, such waterfalls and walks in the National Park and cultural visits to Braga, Guimaraes, Porto etc. Communication with Mariana and Rui was easy. We very much enjoyed our stay!

We would like to thank Architect Paulo Gomes for the sympathy and attention with which we were received in his magnificent villa in Monção, through the Airbnb platform. It was truly well spent days, in a fantastic space where there was nothing missing. The villa has excellent conditions, which exceeded our expectations, providing unique moments of comfort and leisure. As a constructive suggestion, and with all due respect, we believe it could be even more enjoyable if hosts made us slightly more at ease, avoiding going around the house while our group was present. Anyway, this is just a light recommendation, as everything else was just fantastic. We reiterate our thanks and congratulate us on the wonderful villa and hospitality.

wow! the grounds and views of this place are something money can't buy, the memories of looking over the national park from the stunning pool will stay with me forever... we spent 90% of our time outside, making use of the bbq every night. we were 4 adults and 2 children, thus indoor space was just enough for sleeping and bobbing I and out, not quite enough to all sit and watch the tc, but you just don't want to do that anyway. more than enough though if its just 4 people. there are loads of toys in the basement which we made use off - table tennis and there are also kayaks and access to river if you're brave! close to waterfalls and hikes and Flore will send you many recommendations. was just a beautiful place to stay. Flore, my only criticism is please provide more fans as high summer is very hot at night.

We felt very well attended to x Edgar, who in this case was the person responsible for the house. She was very friendly and left everything perfectly tidy, clean and with directions for routes and walks. The house is a charm...and the fireplace heats a thousand wonders! HIGHLY recommended!!

We were a weekend with a large group of friends with children. We loved the experience in this house, it is spacious, quiet and accessible to everyone. Anabel was really nice to us, she left us a gift in the kitchen and she made the stay really enjoyable. The whole house was clean and tidy. Thank you so much for the experience, we'll keep it in mind for the next few occasions. I recommend it 100% if you go to a group of friends with many children.

Very well located accommodation, in a quiet area, with a fantastic view and close to several points of interest. Impeccable interior. Everything extremely clean, cozy, modern and tasteful decor. Kitchen equipped with everything you need. Excellent TVs in the living room and bedrooms. Beds, mattresses, pillows, everything excellent. Bathrooms are also excellent. Flawless Wi-Fi. Great air-conditioning. All the conditions for a very comfortable stay at a time of year that is quite cold. Excellent exterior, with a covered dining and relaxation area, with tables, chairs and TV. It also has a barbecue, swimming pool, outdoor furniture, swing, trampoline, parking, etc. Exceptional host. Always available, friendly, concerned with ensuring that everything was okay. One of the best we've ever found on Airbnb. It was a fantastic week in a region with plenty to offer. The accommodation is really worth it, it was one of our best experiences. We only have positive points to indicate.

Casa Ana Rosa is very well located, half way to Arcos de Valdevez - close to Vilela (a great entrance point of the ecovia) and the Sistelo. This makes it possible to get a quick trip to any of these destinations. The house, with a typical moth of the area, offers the necessary amenities for a large family (as was our case), with a good living and dining area (with the necessary utensils and appliances) and a floor with good 5 bedrooms. It has a large outdoor space, with a porch, garden, swimming pool. We chose to include breakfast service, always very well served, which made it a lot easier. Maria João Rodrigues is always attentive and worried that nothing is missing, thus combining the friendliness with availability in the best way possible. We spent an amazing five days on a big weekend, and we all wanted to try it again.

Formidable house on the hillside of the village of Sistelo. The host was extremely helpful and the house was very well equipped. The surroundings are amazing. An exemplary Airbnb. Highly recommended.
