Beautiful, remote area! The house does have neighbors right next door that are always visible, so you are always seen when on patio deck or using jacuzzi (not too private). We didn't mind too much, but some people may care about lack of privacy. We would have liked to enjoy morning coffee on the deck, but neighbor ran a tractor and wood chopping saw next to the deck for hours each day, so it was impossible to use deck and enjoy any silence or nature sounds. Kitchen needs to have pots and pans that are compatible with with the induction stove. We did find one that worked, but the others were incompatible. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the region is gorgeous for nature lovers!

Beautiful house, amazing private location above a lake. Very relaxing being immersed in nature. House well kitted out and lovely features. We took our paddleboard and wonderful paddle boarding on the lake. Children loved the swimming and the ‘cold tub’ plunge pool. Thankyou Gerrit and Grace, we hope to return.

We had a fantastic day in Esmeralda's house! It is a beautiful and well connected village: one hour from Vigo e moi perto de Paredes de Coura, Ponte de Lima ou Arcos de Valdevez. In the house, with traditional architecture, it is well restored moi. It's nice and comfortable, well decorated, with a good bathroom and all kinds of garments and utensils for cooking. Or pillow mattress and as pillows are comfortable and with bed roupa and towels are prefectas. Or Cardin and beautiful and has sun loungers, tables and cadeiras to enjoy outdoor tamén do. Esmeralda foi friendly and polite. We'll turn around for sure!

This house was spacious and in a beautiful location, about 20 minutes from Ponte de Lima. It was a great place to stay, central to visiting the beach, the national park or the city. There were many things for our children to do at the house with the game tables, pool, hot tub, suana and padel court. The property is full of possibility and very beautiful. Jose and family checked us in and were kind and gracious and helpful with any questions that we had.

Nuno has been a fantastic host. She waited for us on the day of arrival and during our stay has been recommending the best places and excursions in the area. She speaks very good Spanish and is super friendly. The Green wine made by her father is spectacular. His house is located in a lovely place, a paradise for those looking to really disconnect. Of all the homes we've visited with Airbnb, this is by far the best place to go with children. We recommend trying the cachena beef. It's tender and hardly any grease; a real treat.

Fatima's house exceeded our expectations. The place is very quiet, in the middle of nature surrounded by fields and landscapes, ideal for relaxing with family or friends. The house met expectations. The bedrooms all had double beds and extra bedding. The kitchen was very well equipped ( oven, toaster, coffee maker, microwave), had several cooking utensils ( many dishes, silverware, pots and glasses) ideal for 6 people or more... there was also everything needed to cook as condiments and other products. The bathroom was spotless, there were plenty of towels and toiletries. Outside there was a barbecue grill, which in the hottest weather can provide a great outdoor living. Fátima was very attentive, she always responded to messages. The check-in and check-out were very easy and smooth. It was definitely one of the best dwellings that my family and I were accommodated!

In a Word: Excellent 😉 Our host, Father of Bernardo, is very friendly and flexible, always helpful and concerned about the well-being of guests. A Many Thank you to him. In relation to the house, it surpassed the expectations... Well equipped and clean house with everything functional. The house help to the pool is excellent, with bathrooms, shower, well-equipped kitchen, barbecue... and even a small room, for example for children... excellent space for some good convivials together with the pool. Highly recommended and hope to return one day...

Rui’s place is amazing, it looks even better than the pictures! Really comfortable and includes everything you need. The location makes it easy to drive to the local town in around 15 minutes and lots of routes to other sights within an hour. Rui was really helpful, sharing some good local tips and on hand to ask any questions.

We were super comfortable. We had thought from other comments that there would be no coverage but we had no connection issues at any time. Beautiful location, super nice house.

I loved the experience, I can say that the house has one of the best views I've ever seen, it doesn't get tired. Super cozy, equipped and clean space. The hosts are 5 super attentive stars. I recommend it 100%.

Our stay in Sistelo was magical. The view from the patio and windows was gorgeous as it looked out onto the terraces. The cottage is adorable, with modern appliances and a cozy feel. We also loved Sistelo as a town. There are some nice walking trails nearby and the local restaurant Tasquinha Ti Melia was amazing.

We had a very pleasant stay! The house is welcoming, well-equipped with all the necessary essentials, and we always felt special care in service and communication – they were extremely attentive and helpful. The location is great, surrounded by stunning nature and with easy access to Gerês. An extra point that made all the difference was the possibility of charging for electric cars – super practical! I highly recommend and undoubtedly we will return! 🌿✨

Correu everything beautifully! The apartment was cute, clean and spacious and the outdoor space equally fantastic. The host always proved very available and friendly! We thought we'll be back soon!

The house was just perfect. Amazing amenities, lots of things do to at the grounds, close to the village. We couldn't ask for more! Rui is a great host and everything went very smoothly. We definitely will be returning sometime :)

Thank you Olga and Nuno. We loved this mini family holiday. I think the space is ideal for resting my head and spirit, in the middle of the stunning nature and with the wonderful friendliness of the Minho people (from scratch or “ạ ”like dear Ruth with whom I went to pick oranges for breakfast:) It is the ideal place to breathe in serenity.
