House holiday rentals in Amelia

We loved our stay in Sara's rustic farmhouse cottage with its glorious views across the valley, little hill towns on the other side and a beautiful scenic drive across to Orvieto on one side (about 1 hour) and Todi on the other. The pool was heavenly. We only had swimming weather for the first week but we were in every day. When the mornings were cold, I also enjoyed sitting by the pool in the morning sun, reading and drinking my coffee. The garden is also beautiful and very quiet. It was so peaceful here - and what a dream to have the pool to ourselves. Sara lives in the other half of the house with Simone, her partner, and Eugene, the dog - but we never saw them (they have their own entrance) except when they were cleaning the pool. The house is full of art and ceramics, some of which are Sara's own, and we even had lunch in Todi at Simone's restaurant. Yes, the road is rough, but so are all roads in Umbria. We have a mini and the road was not a problem.

Stayed here last week for 5 days. On arrival we were met with a welcome basket of food a bottle of wine a bottle of homemade olive oil and also bottles of water on arrival. The pictures don’t do it justice it felt like a place out of a fairytale, the property is surrounded by tons of olive trees and greenery. If you want a quiet relaxing holiday this is place to go. Rosella was amazing with quick responses and extremely welcoming, we are definitely going again next year.

Abbiamo trascorso 2 giorni fantastici, consiglio vivamente sia il borgo che la casa. Fornita di tutto, lontana dal caos ma centrale per visitare l'Umbria. Un oasi di pace, sul serio. La famiglia che gestisce la casa è disponibile, accogliente e attenta ai dettagli. Dopo una giornata in giro tra le città d'arte la piscina rende ancora più rilassante il soggiorno. We had a wonderful holiday and are very grateful to Flavia for being responsive and accommodating. And massive thanks to Giuseppe who helped us so much throughout the week, from greeting us on arrival and providing advice and suggestions, and saying farewell when we left. The house was beautifully presented with great attention to detail: comfortable, equipped with what we needed, tidy and clean. The gardens were gorgeous, lots of flowers when we visited in late May, and the trees around the perimeter create a sense of seclusion and tranquility, and yet you can see Trevi up on the hill and are in a great location for getting to shops, train station, roads etc. I've never seen so many different species of bird in one garden, it was wonderful! I would be delighted to have the chance to go back and would happily recommend this lovely house to my friends and family. We really felt able to relax and didn't want to leave! Grazie mille, again.

Vi hadde et supert opphold! God kommunikasjon med Guido, Christian og Eka både før, under og etter turen. En ren og ryddig plass i vakre, landlige omgivelser. Vi hadde mange timer ved bassenget og tok oss noen fine kjøreturer blant annet dagstur til Assisi. Vi tok også en dagstur til Roma. Da kjørte vi tog fra Orte.

Adele is the best host we have had in our history of AirBNBing. She helped us when we got stranded, she was proactive with her communications, and extremely friendly. She is an angel, and we truly enjoyed staying at her property. The property itself was gorgeous, spacious, with stunning views, super clean, and had more than required amenities. Overall, we loved our stay and we would return to Adele 100% given another chance. THANK YOU!

Paola und William haben uns herzlich willkommen geheißen und alles so liebevoll vorbereitet, so wie man es für gute Freunde tun würde! Danke, dass ihr den Pool eine Woche früher geöffnet habt, wir haben das sehr genossen und waren täglich schwimmen! Welch ein Luxus, so einen großen Pool ganz für sich zu haben! Haus und Pool sind eingebettet in perfekt gepflegte Grünanlagen mit Olivenbäumen, Rosmarin, Lavendel und vielem mehr. So viele schöne Ausflüge die man machen kann, aber des Schönste war es abends auf der Terrasse zu essen, über das weite Tal hinweg zu schauen und den Sonnenuntergang zu genießen. Ein Traum! Danke, dass wir den Traum bei euch leben durften!

A beautiful stay in Tuscany perfect for relaxing on the property and visiting towns.

THE BEST! My first view out the small terrace was possibly the most beautiful I will ever see: a large mountainside of fields, olive and grape vineyards, quaint homes and large monasteries, winding roads and long high speed passenger trains! Inside, the design and materials of this home cannot be beat: a beautiful combination of 3000 year old history stocked full of modern comforts! Open the doors and windows and feel the breeze waft through smelling of honeysuckle and jasmine. Giovanni’s Castle on the Rock is just amazing. We especially were interested in the Orvieto tuff caves dug by the Bronze Age Etruscans. Beneath our feet were two floors of these caves, beautifully finished and lit with marble and tile floors and steps. Nearby were two more remarkable systems of caves: Il Labirinto and Della La Cava. The latter is less than a block away. Both are far better than the Orvieto Underground! Treat yourselves to this delightful discovery! It’s the perfect rest stop in a medieval city!

Wow wow wow! What a beautiful place to stay! We stayed in Letizia’s apartment for a few days and I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Coming from busy Rome, this was the perfect place to slow down and unwind. The village and scenery, were stunning, just so so beautiful. Our favourite part of the day was sitting on the balcony and having breakfast with most amazing view. There’s a small beach with a pontoon a small walk away, great for swimming. Cute cafe/restaurant around the corner, great for coffee or a casual lunch/dinner. We rented a car for our time here (an absolute must in my opinion). The village has a small shop but you would need to travel to a supermarket to eat properly. Absolutely recommend this place, Letizia was also very helpful and accommodating.

Wir konnten 5 entspannte Nächte in dieser Unterkunft genießen. Die Lage in der historischen Altstadt von Bolsena war wunderbar. Unzählige Bars, Restaurants und Geschäfte sind unmittelbar in der Umgebung. Wer nach einer Besonderen Unterkunft sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Der Check-in sowie der Check-out liefen reibungslos, ebenso wie die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern. Als Bolsena Liebhaber ist die Unterkunft und natürlich die Gegend immer eine Reise Wert.

We stayed in the villa as a group of six after our city trip to Rome, and it was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how modern and well-maintained everything was. The host exceeded all expectations—friendly, attentive, and always checking in to see if we needed anything. We even received welcome drinks and some ingredients to cook pasta, which was a lovely touch. The villa was spotless and fully equipped. It had a large pool in the front and a smaller one with a whirlpool in the back—perfect for relaxing after sightseeing in the city. The host also allowed us a late check-out, as our flight was in the evening, and even arranged a shuttle to the airport for us. We couldn’t have asked for more. The service, comfort, and overall experience were outstanding. We would 100% recommend this villa and would love to stay here again!

Mario's welcome with a good bottle of red wine and local cookies was a great start for a long peaceful week. The house is located in one of the nicest spots in Umbria. We could have stayed there much longer in order to experience all the finest places Umbria has to offer. Tsvi

Cristiano è un host disponibile in ogni aspetto del soggiorno: dal momento della prenotazione fino al momento del check-out. Molto importante il suo aiuto anche per quanto riguarda la possibilità di “appoggiarsi” ad un ristorante raggiungibile a piedi. La casa è stata perfetta per le nostre necessità: tre stanze da letto, un bagno con una bella cabina doccia e la zona giorno molto funzionale. Parcheggio gratuito a pochi metri da casa. Un punto strategico che terrò in considerazione per future visite in zona.

Calcata alleine ist die Reise wert. Das Spa von Christian ist eine Oase der Entspannung. Wir haben unsere Flitterwochen dort verbracht und waren trotz der Fotos wahnsinnig überrascht, wie schön diese Unterkunft ist. Wir können es absolut empfehlen.

Beautiful location! The house is spacious, furnished in a rustic style with attention to detail, creating a welcoming atmosphere. We spent four days in total tranquility, surrounded by nature and breathtaking scenery, perfect for relaxing and enjoying sunsets while walking in the surroundings. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the common areas are comfortable and well-organized. The host was extremely helpful and proactive from check-in, promptly responding to any needs. A place I highly recommend to anyone seeking a break immersed in nature.

Soggiorno piacevole e pacifico. Casa particolare e suggestiva, letto comodo e terrazzo ampio e grazioso. Ci hanno fatto fatto compagnia tanti mici del paese che hanno reso la nostra permanenza ancora più gradevole. Caleb è stato molto disponibile, soprattutto per il check in anticipato.

Annarita and her house were amazing! She was so kind, friendly and super helpful. We needed instructions on how to get to the train station and not only did she tell us where to meet the bus and when, she walked us to the store to purchase the tickets and then to the bus stop so we knew exactly where to go. The house was spotless and exactly as it looks in the pictures. There was a grocery store, a bakery, and a fruit and vegetable market all within a 10 minute walk of her house. We walked back to the house from the old town (Orvieto Duomo) in about 30 minutes. Obviously it would take longer if you were to walk up to the old town due to the hills. Also, there were tons of free parking spaces right outside the house. If we are ever back in this area, we would love to stay at Annarita's again!

Our stay in Pitigliano was incredible! Check-in was super easy, and the host was extremely responsive and helpful—guiding us with parking, luggage, and making sure we felt right at home. They even recommended the BEST restaurant in town! After two weeks in Italy, I can confidently say this charming city had the best service, most welcoming staff, and hands down the most delicious food—those sausages were unforgettable! There was a bit of noise in the master bedroom since the wall connects to the restaurant next door, but thankfully the apartment had a second bedroom where we could place our light-sleeping toddler, and it worked out perfectly. Pitigliano is such a unique gem, and our stay made it even more memorable. Highly recommend!

Although the apartment was a little basic, it was as described, so perfect for me. The location was excellent, right in the town and near all the amenities. I’m sure I would have had an excellent nights sleep in the comfortable bed, if it hadn’t been for the local dogs barking all night! Although I did not meet Maurizio in person, he communicated well, and was very helpful. A great host.

L'appartamento era impeccabilmente pulito e ho apprezzato moltissimo la sua tranquillità; la via è estremamente silenziosa, garantendo un riposo perfetto. I proprietari sono stati incredibilmente gentili e disponibili, rendendo il check-in e l'intero soggiorno molto piacevoli. La loro cordialità ha contribuito a farmi sentire subito a casa. La posizione in Via Cave 6 è inoltre molto comoda per esplorare Foligno. Consiglio vivamente questo Airbnb a chiunque cerchi un soggiorno confortevole, pulito e rilassante, con il valore aggiunto di host davvero squisiti.
