Right by Norway's best cross-country skier and 30 min with car to Geilo Alpinsenter. Here the whole family relaxes, or just for those who need a breath in the mountains.

THE CABIN - is a newly built cabin (2024), located in a small cabin area on Oppheimsåsen with quiet surroundings. This is a cabin that is excellent for the extended family, or several families. The cabin has a high and modern standard. There are ski slopes right outside, bike path, fishing water, as well as several mountain hikes nearby. Eel city center - 28 min (high and low park, sauna and ice bathing) Convenience store at Topo - 19 min Eel Ski Center - 30 min Tropicana water park Gol - 33 min Geilo - 51 min Hemsedal - 60 min

Delicate cabin surrounded by Hallingdal's beautiful mountains

Stylish and cozy funkish cottage built in 2019. The cottage is located right by the Hallingdalselva river,just 2 km from the center of Ål. High and low climbing park is only 300m away, and about 500m away is Strandafjorden swimming area! Ål ski center is 8 km and to Geilo only 23 km. Hemsedal ski center is 56 km from the cabin. Hardangervidda about 35 km. On the mountains around, you can pick and choose from amazing ski slopes in winter and walking paths in the summer! The activity opportunities are just as good both winter and summer!

Practical and cozy cabin - high chair + travel bed

Relax with your family or friends at this practical cabin. Here you can hike high to the mountains, bike, stroll a hike, explore the cultural opportunities in Ål or just relax. The cabin is compact and conveniently furnished with 7 beds + a daybed for two in the living room, bathroom with shower, separate toilet. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge/freezer and espresso pot for good coffee! High chair, cot (travel cot) and a stroller can be used while you are there. Nature plot and terrace. Cozy view.

Cabin in the mountains in Hallingdal

Newly built cabin at Torpoåsen in Hallingdal is rented out when we do not use it ourselves. Located in the middle of the mountains at Ål and in Hemsedal. Driveable road all the way up to the cabin from June to November. In winter you have to go skiing 1 km. in flat, prepared terrain, or rent scooter transport into the cabin (we arrange a ride). Top modern cabin with panoramic view of the mountains in Hallingdal. Strictly hiking opportunities all year round; by foot, bike, skiing or snowshoeing. Welcome!
