What a beautiful spot! We loved being in such a peaceful location, just a short walk from being able to swim in the lake. Lovely's place had everything we need, including a nice outdoor area - perfect for storing bikes and drying swimming gear! Lovely was a dream to communicate with and went out of her way to make our stay great. We can't recommend staying here highly enough!

really enjoyed our stay and Sue is an amazing host and very responsive and kind. I will definitely look forward to stay again at this beautiful place.

This BnB is not far from the CBD Taupo, 7 min drive. A lovely place, clean and tidy, comfortable bed and a fridge and oven warmer, and perfect for me that wanted drop- in accommodation for a few days. Tina the host is lovely. I would recommend this place to people .

One of the best Airbnbs I have stayed in, Sandra is an awesome host and I felt right at home. The dogs are very cute and super friendly and I always felt like I could ask Sandra for anything if I needed it. Overall a great experience and would 100% stay here again on my next work trip!

I found Braxmere Lodge very clean and comfortable in quiet and traquil location at southern end of Lake Taupo. Felt safe and private. Friendly staff. Stunning views. I will stay again.

Had a lovely stay here and Janet was a great host who made me feel very welcome. It was spacious and clean and had everything I needed. Very close to the beautiful lakeside walkway which was a real plus. Would definitely stay again if I’m in the area.

Lovely place. Newly renovated. The restaurant next door has re-opened with great food. There are laundry facilities onsite but please note you need coins. A $2 coin for dryer and a $1 and $2 coin for washer.

Jude was a wonderful host - very friendly and proactive. She provided a whole list of recommendations for the local area which was super useful. The location of the apartment was a stones throw away from the lake, and the apartment itself was well equipped and spacious. Thanks again, Jude, for your wonderful hospitality!

Real gem of Taupo region! Located just a short drive of SH1, this place is really private and really cosy. Dave greeted us shortly after our arrival and showed us a path to their private geothermal pool, where we had so needed soak after a long drive. Airbnb is at ground floor, very easy to get into, it is very cosy, with ample space for family and a big pool table. Did I mention it has central heating? So warm! Very comfortable beds, we had best sleep. Overall this place deserves to be a destination on its own, Dave and Anne are best hosts!

It was a short 1 night stay for us. Jane is very hospitable and provided clear communication and even recommended places to visit for the rest of our trip. The place is very clean and warm. Appreciate all the small treats too!

Great place to stay for a visit to Taupo. It was a nice location being out of the city center but still a short drive in to town. The room was comfortable and had a lovely bathroom.

This guest suite is located in a beautiful neighborhood where we had a lovely stay. The hosts were kind and helpful and made our check in very easy. The space was clean and spacious with all that we needed for a comfortable visit.

Jeremy and Anna’s place was perfect for us for a quick stopover in Taupo! We had our elderly parents with us and they both loved it as well. It was clean and pristine and despite the cold weather, was well heated indoors. It was spacious and had all the amenities we needed while travelling away from home! Jeremy was also very kind to proactively offer an early check-in for us, which was very much appreciated! It was also just a quick walk to the lake, so perfect for evening and morning walks/jogs. We’d love to be back if we had the chance, and would certainly recommend to everyone looking for a place to stay in Taupo!

Lovely place to rest our heads while in Taupo. Very clean, comfortable, great shower and delish coffee. Lots of local information on hand and very handy to township. Would stay again.

We had a great stay at Richard’s place. We were here for the Tongariro Crossing and this place was very close. The place exceeded our expectations as it had many just about every amenity we could think of Getting in was easy. Highly recommend if staying in the area.

Fantastic location to the lake front and a short walk to the Taupo shops and cafes. The apartment was perfect for four people, spotlessly clean and the living area very spacious. Great communication from Margaret and we look forward to returning.

We had a most lovely stay at Gail’s place. Everything about it was A+ and fresh and new. Styled so nicely and with the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in. Also included breakfast treats of fresh fruit, O.J, granola yoghurt and toast. The bathroom is beautiful and the shower was great. We only had one night as we were there for a summer concert and Gail very kindly dropped us back to our vehicle that had been left in town for the night. There is also an inviting looking 2 person hot tub off the main bedroom that we never got to soak in so we shall just have to come back another time. Thank you Gail and hubby and puppy dog for your excellent hospitality 😁
