Our romantic windmill (1874) is just a few miles from Amsterdam in wide green fields and along a meandering river: "Gein". Easy access to the A'dam. by car, train or by bike. You have the entire windmill to yourself. Three floors, 3 bedrooms with double beds: it easily sleeps 6, a kitchen, living, 2 toilets and a bathroom with bath/shower. Bikes available + kayak. Just leave some extra money if you did use them. No need to reserve ahead. Great swimming water and small landing just in front.

The house consists of 2 spacious bedrooms each with individual bath room, there is a living and a large kitchen. The folding doors brings you to the big private garden which gives you a panoramic view to the surrounding pastures with grazing sheep and cows. Lovely holiday home at the beautiful Buitenborgh recreation park by the water. Swimming, boating, stand-up paddleboarding, fishing, and enjoying the sun is our motto. Amsterdam and other Randstad cities are easily accessible by car. Public transport is located a little further away; there is a bus stop about 1 km walk/bike ride away, and a train station is 4 km walk/bike ride away. Having your own transport is recommended and parking is available in Abcoude.

Riverside accommodation De Vink near Amsterdam

De Vink is a national monument with a very unique free location directly on the river. In a rural area, but a stone's throw from Amsterdam. The old drive-through barn has been converted into an independent residence with its own entrance. The upstairs double room has a very large bath with a view over the river. The downstairs room is a single room. Both with private bathroom. A nice hide-away with exceptional beautiful views.

The B&B is located in the village of Abcoude, a charming village just outside Amsterdam and close to Utrecht. Thanks to its central location, venues such as AFAS Live, the Ziggo Dome, and the Johan Cruijff Arena are easily and quickly accessible. On our farm, where the B&Bs are situated, we have cows and sheep, and two lovely Frisian Stabij dogs roam around.
