Waterfront holiday rentals in Utrecht

We spent a night in Ronnie and Monique's canal house on our bike tour from Amsterdam to the Ruhr area and we were very satisfied. The location on the canal is really great: everything important can be reached quickly and yet it was pleasantly quiet.

Naarden is SUCH a beautiful place and we wouldn’t have found a more primal location if we tried. Between the location and the beautiful flat, you can’t ask for more. The price is a bargain, and our host was such a kind and thoughtful host. We felt right at home, and were hoping to come back next year!

The apartment is beautifully decorated. Everything is clean and tidy. The communication was very good. Always quick responses and super friendly. I'd love to come back :)

We are so thankful for our time at The Happiest Place, we wish we could give a 6 Star Review! The unit is spacious and cozy, immaculately clean, and has tons of natural light. The kitchen is well -appointed and the bed is perfectly medium-firm. The apartment is centrally located in Utrecht, on a quiet street. Easy walking distance from the train station, grocery stores, restaurants, laundromat, and tourist attractions. Rob is an amazing host, very friendly and gracious, with a deep wealth of local knowledge. We stayed for multiple weeks and ended up extending our stay because we enjoyed it so much. Rob replaced the sheets and towels multiple times and did such a fantastic job making us feel at-home in the apartment. I can say without a doubt, there is nowhere better to stay in Utrecht.

This apartment was charming, right on a canal, making nighttime peaceful. If you're there for King's Day as we were, skip the crowds and watch party boats pass by while everyone waves and sings. Everything was as perfect as it appeared online. Lex and Sylvia are thoughtful and gracious hosts. I searched for a special gift, and Sylvia went above and beyond—she found it, texted us, and sent pictures! They provided all the essential information, plus an abundance of brochures and maps. The flat is perfect! The kitchen had everything one needed. They even stocked the fridge with essentials for breakfast and lunch. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom and outside space were excellent. The location is incredible. Thank you, Sylvia and Lex, for a wonderful weekend in Utrecht! It was one of my best vacations in a while. We can't wait to come back, Deb

The harbor courtyard was easy to find, the check in was just hassle-free. The apartment fully corresponded to the description. The highlight is the view of the Loosdrechter Ser. The supermarket on the opposite side of the street makes your shopping very easy. The central location ( about 10 minutes to the highway) allow quick access to the sights. will be happy to come back. Great apartment. Really well thought out. The level of detail in the guide put together was fabulous and really helpful. Excellent facilities, I’ve been to so many Airbnbs where you get one washing tab and limited hand soap. Here there was a good supply of everything. Bread, butter and cheese on arrival was a nice touch. Decent coffee machine too 😊 The beds were very very comfy! Couldn’t fault at all. I’d defo return should I ever happen to be in Utrecht. In addition to that I forgot my ring at their place and they sent me an international send, they followed the package with me 💕 nothing to say to go there with my eyes closed. we would book this place again and again. A fantastic area that invites you to just relax. In the house we immediately felt at home and were so happy about it. It was beautifully decorated with a lot of love in detail! Anna and her husband are also simply people of the heart who had an open ear for us and gave us tips on how best to get to the most beautiful cities/sights. We stayed at this stunning house set in the country side in Amsterdam. We were a group of six ladies and just felt right at home. We commuted from Amsterdam to the house via uber which was so easy ! We walked into the local town and around the area with stunning scenery and lots of cafes etc within 2 km. Lots of wildlife to see and the walking was really easy as it was all on the flat. We tried local ice cream too. Next to the house was the most stunning views and cafe that we sat drinking ginger tea, cava and lattes. The food was homemade and wonderful. We wish we could go back ! The house was spacious with large areas for our group to sit and eat together, we enjoyed the garden and the views. Our host was super helpful and responsive. Overall we had an amazing break and cannot fault it !

Our stay at Nicolette’s holiday cottage exceeded our expectations! Nicolette and Remco welcomed us with open arms and made us feel right at home. We really appreciated how accessible and approachable they were, and their recommendations were very helpful! The cottage was quiet and cozy, and had everything we needed. Being along the bike trail and the river gave us so many opportunities for fun adventures! We look forward to coming back!

We had a short, very nice New Year's Eve stay with Gerard with great views of the fireworks over the water. The apartment is modern and beautifully decorated and has a large dining and living area. In particular, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Gerard responded quickly and helpfully to inquiries. Definitely recommended!

My family enjoyed our stay. The location on a canal was fantastic. The area was central to everything we wanted to do. From looking at tulips and windmills, going to Amsterdam, or checking out World War II history. We are only about an hour away from them, regardless of the direction of travel. The owners were helpful. The internet went down for an afternoon. Thee ownser quickly responded and recommended a fix to get us reconnected. The accommodations were spotless and very homey. If I find myself in the Netherlands again, I will attempt to stay at this location.

Great idea to choose the apartment for a relaxing part of our six week trip. We were thinking of travelling to Amsterdam and or Utrecht but we were rather tired at that stage and have been to Amsterdam several times. We found Armsfoort absolutely delightful and Hans loved it for photography

We visit Vinkeveen with 4 girls and had a really nice time :) The apartment is pretty and clean and especially the balcony was great. I guess it's a perfect choice if you want to visit amsterdam but also want to have some relaxed time and enjoy the country side or the lake, wich is directly next to the airbnb. We would come back, thanks for the stay!

Lots of space and great location if you plan to drive around. The view of the canal was very fun to have.

Gwen met us outside and explained everything and answered all our questions. It turned out that the location was perfect! Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. We especially enjoyed walking along the canal under the trees. The place was like new and the bed was premium.

Maxime's apartment is very nice and equipped, in line with the photos and very comfortable. Maxime was very helpful and gave us a lot of information on how to get to Amsterdam and what to do. The house is in a very nice location, definitely beautiful in the summer. We stayed at New Year's Eve and it was perfect as a foothold and then visit Amsterdam.l, easily reachable by car in less than 30 minutes. Highly recommended.
