A lovely retro place to stay, and a wonderful place to come back to after a day out. Cosy, peaceful, spotless, and an easy walk to Greytown's main street. Zoe is also an amazing host, and had great local recommendations. Would stay again.

We stayed at the cottage for 2 weeks visiting family in Masterton. It was absolutely perfect for our needs. The two bedrooms are very spacious and the beds extremely comfortable. There's an open plan lounge, diner, kitchen all beautifully furnished. We easily sat 7 round the table one night. It's a lovely old villa with original features and wonderful art works and quirky objects. Our 2 3/4 year old grandson was over the moon with the trainset, one of a big collection of games and toys. On fine days we loved sitting on the back verandah watching the birds flitting round and listening to birdsong. It was very peaceful. On Saturday mornings it's a short walk to the Solway Showgrounds for the Farmers Market. Joan and Michael are the perfect hosts, very quickly responsive to any queries. I'm so glad we got to meet them. This would be our first choice if we are back in Masterton.

A lovely place to stay, beautiful gardens, lovely home. It did have a smell of curry while we were there, but hopefully that will disappear with more airing out. Otherwise we couldn't fault it. You do have the house to yourselves which wasn't totally clear when looking at it online.

We had a great stay at Kate’s place! In a lovely quiet setting but still close to the Greytown shops. The next door neighbours (cows + sheep) were very friendly!

An excellent Airbnb experience every time I booked here. Even had the fire roaring for when I arrived late evening.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this beautiful home. It was such an amazing luxurious stay. Received a warm welcome with local greytown gifts. The home had everything you could possibly need to host a nice weekend away with friends/family. Could easily stay there all day as its such a comfortable place to be. Very beautiful architecture and design was amazing to appreciate. The amenities were unreal including the well stocked kitchen, comfy outdoor space, and hot tub. Everything was also very clean with comfortable beds. This was easily the best airbnb I've ever stayed at and well worth the money. Would love to stay again.

This two bedroom apartment is absolutely amazing with so much character! Love the decor! Beautiful location. We hated to leave.

Second time staying there. A great over nighter. A warm welcome by hosts Fee and Gra and their dog Piper. Make you feel right at home. Relaxed in the spa after walking our dog to the beach behind the house, then nice quiet evening indoors. Love coming to this place. Easy to maintain and you have own place and space. Good stay, was everything we needed.

Didn’t take any photos of the place, however the view was stunning! The house was very clean, the beds were super comfy and so were the pillows. It was a great big space! On Rainy days I did wish there was roof cover for the balcony… also for those who can’t do stairs. There was a few flights to climb! But well worth the trip. Amazing host, milk, coffee and a wine on arrival! Greta cafe right under the apartment was fair priced, delicious and great customer service! Thank you Giles & Zoe

Great views, comfortable bed and we loved the cabinet with coffee and late night granola snack. Excellent tub with epson salts after a long day of exercise. Highly recommend. Very clean. Thanks Sue!

The location is unbeatable. A short walk to the main square with all the restaurants and shops. Even found a new bakery because it was close to the apt. The balcony is lovely in the sun even on a cold autumn's day. Thank you Sue for a lovely stay

Kate’s place was a great price, extremely clean and in an excellent location! She communicated well and even had the heater going for me as I had a late check in. Super accommodating and such an awesome place with everything you need!
