We had a lovely long bank holiday weekend stay with our dog. Nice and quiet and a great base to explore the coast. The accommodation was clean and had lovely touches to it. The welcome of scones on arrival was delicious. The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the velux windows nice touch especially with the warm weather we have had. Kept us cool at night. Definitely a place we would stay again.

Peter went out of his way to make sure we knew exactly where to go and what to do when checking in. We appreciated how flexible and accommodating the host was in regards to variable check in times and endeavoured to get the charming pod ready for in time for us, at our convenience. This little hide away is the ideal spot for a short stay with your dog, despite being a stone through from the main house, stables and Blue Barn...it still felt quite private and accommodating for our needs. Thank you for having us!

we had a wonderful stay at this little gem. it was close to our favourite beaches at Charmouth, Seaton and Lyme Regis. we really appreciated all the little touches on arrival - fresh bread, eggs, butter and milk. The annexe was fantastically well equipped. Thank you so much!

A truly wonderful stay over the Easter weekend. ‘Bluebell Cottage’ is everything you could want for a family break in the beautiful Somerset countryside. The cottage was spotlessly clean and furnished to an extremely high quality standard, with everything you could want….home from home! The hosts are similarly wonderful- excellent communication both pre and during the stay, respecting your privacy, but there as required, to provide help and an array of local recommendations. As a family, we loved the stunning gardens at the cottage and of course, the local scenery. Three fantastic days were spent exploring, with trips including Lyme Regis on Dorsets’ Jurassic Coast and a brilliant lunch at the PIPs (look it up, it’s brilliant!). We would return anytime and most certainly will 😊
